Santa Fe Basque Restaurant & Bar - Fresno

Rating: 4.6 /5
Michael McCay Just had the most amazing experience at this establishment. I would definitely give them a ten out of five if I could. From the minute we walked in the door it was like being transported back to the old country. Live Basque music, traditional dancing and singing. We brought in a large group and had the most amazing dinner, everything cooked to perfection and at a great price. This restaurant alone would make any trip to Fresno worthwhile.
barney’s beanery

Barney’s Beanery - Santa Monica

Rating: 4.2 /5
Raegan Newman What a wonderful wonderful place! This is now my favorite Barneys location anywhere. Just wonderful ambience and vibes. Really nice outdoor patio on the third street promenade with cozy booths and a beautiful long bar with extremely comfortable chairs, as well as plenty of comfortable booth seating throughout the whole restaurant. A lot of very entertaining eye candy everywhere as well as plenty of games on the second level. Pool tables, Pac-Man, air hockey etc., etc.. very beautiful layout and TVs absolutely everywhere. They have some pretty fun events Monday through Friday like movie night, trivia night, karaoke night. Even a pool league! What a fun place! Skinny cocktail was made to perfection and my only complaint is the two times we ordered cocktails, we had to ask where they were. The bartender didn’t seem to be focused on her job at all. Abigail was fantastic. Great personality and a great server! I had the Bueno and Solada. Taco shell was fried perfectly and all the lovely flavorful, shredded chicken and sautéed peppers and Coquita cheese and lovely amount of beans smeared on the bottom was just divine. He had the chicken quesadilla and it looked lovely. He said it was good. Next time I’m in this area I will definitely come back in. Fabulous!

I showed up with 15 and they easily accommodated us with no wait. Clean bathrooms are available and plenty of parking is out front. We will be back.

Old Town Grill - Placerville

Greg Skodacek Excellent Gluten-free choices. Great food, service, in downtown Placerville. We will definitely return on our next visit to the town. Soup was very good and burgers were perfect and reasonably priced.

M Pak It was a very interesting experience. It was my first time eating Israeli food and it was delicious. Hummus was delicious and the atmosphere was modern. They also kindly recommended food. If you like a different experience, I recommend you to go.

Sofiz Kitchen & Bar - Chico

Rating: 4.9 /5
Berenice Arguello It’s a welcoming restaurant. Cozy on a rainy day, and also bright/lively. We ordered tea. Perfect. I appreciate that it came with sugar on the side. Amazing start to the meal. The appetizers (samosas) were flaky. So light and freshly made. 15-20 min later our entrees came at the same time. Warm, but not piping hot. Perfectly timed. The owner, Sofi, is attentive and sweet
