Richard’s Prime Rib & Seafood - (Near Fresno, CA)

Alex Zepka We seated at the bar as the host told us there was nothing left that night. So, yes, it was busy, even on a Tuesday night. We mostly came over because of their cocktails menu and it didnt disappoint. They have a short list of "permanent" and a longer lost of seasonal drinks. We also had dinner. They claim to cook their steaks at 1400 degrees. I tried the NY steak and, yes, it was cooked to perfection, but I was not blown away with the meat quality. I wish they has a hanger steak instead. The brussel sprouts were some of th best we ever had. A little on th sweet side, but still great and the portion was huge. The service was hot and cold. The main bartender was super friendly but the second bartender was a bit clueless and too busy to help us. We were basically left alone for most of the time. Food took a long time to arrive and they got me th wrong sauce for th steak (they corrected it afterwards). Overall, this was a nice place for dinner and drinks, but there are definitely blind spots, particularly in the service.

Gary Rust Luisas is an excellent Italian restaurant. This restaurant is a real jewel in the Mission. I loved my Lasagna Fiorentina, which bested a lot of lasagna Ive had in Italy over the years. The bread is house baked and too tasty. The garlic bread was even better, made of course from that delicious bread. Luisa was at the restaurant greeting customers and watching over everything. She runs a tight ship, and the employees seem to adore her. I remember Luisas the restaurant when it was on Castro St. during the 80s. I always loved eating there. It was a joy to reminisce with her after all these years. And its amazing she is still going strong at 96!

S EDH Its a Gem. Welcoming. Service was friendly. Basic breakfast sandwich was basic but delicious with crispy bacon. Grits were done right! Very good and large portion. My son loved the avocado toast and it was a fair portion. Beignets were very good maybe not as fluffy as New Orleans but still super good and nice topping. This place is certainly worth a visit.

Shelly Otten My husband and I have been to this restaurant a few times over the course of many years. We have enjoyed the food each time. The last time I ordered the Pozole, which was very good. This last visit, I ordered the chicken sopes and was given a super-sized serving of two with sides of refried beans and rice. The service was friendly, and the food was ready within a decent time. I appreciate the consistency of the quality and portion size of food they serve.

v l I just have to say, Original Joes is one of the last great restaurants of Downtown San Jose! With that being said, I keep ordering the steak & sausage rigatoni because I love the taste of the sauce! Its so flavorful & forfilling of a warm beautiful dinner. Im only guessing that its a cooked down red wine, but, what do I know? I know I love to eat, I love eating here & my family does too! Thank you so very much for a wonderful evening! Well be back. Mandy Draper We had a delicious lunch here. Carlos the bartender and server made delicious craft cocktails. The other server was also wonderful on 9/10/25 and attentive. The ambience was perfect with delightful seating and decorations. The food was delicious and highly recommend them.
