Riva Grill On the Lake -Food CA (Near South Lake Tahoe)

Hayley Exceptional. I expected it to be a little cheesy but aside from the magic show- not at all. The food was fantastic quality and value. Very well thought out 3 course menu with enough selections for variety but not an overwhelming amount of choice. The drinks were incredible. Truly wonderful (I had too many with zero regrets). The performers were truly talented and the costumes were amazing. I hoped this would be a fun experience and it turned out to be a highlight of my trip to LA. Can’t give a rave enough review on this place! LOVE

Dwight Hopson Amazing Service and food. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Really enjoyed the atmosphere as well. The kids menu was perfect for the little ones. Will definitely be visiting for a delicious meal a lot more often. Highly recommend to anyone who enjoys good food.

C R The food was amazing. Ordered the filet mignon, and the meat just melts in your mouth! Cooked to perfection so tender and served over a bed of fresh crisp, tender vegetables and mashed potatoes. Our server Travis was very attentive and helpful in choosing a wine, great conversations, and surpised us with an anniversary treat. He made our dining experience feel special. Allison Beane Food was delicious with the exception of the garlic tomato soup. I feel like it needs more of a tomato base to it. Its very garlic forward. Otherwise, everything was so, so yummy! Our server has worked there 16 years. And she was amazing. You can tell she can run circles around the others.

Massa Rifai WOW. I want to move to SanDiego just so I can come here more often…. Food is EXCELLENT we had the vodka a la scampi and a special of the day of ravioli… all food was amazing! The table side tiramisu is really good and they have really good tea setup which I appreciate! The staff were amazing and the service was on point. Also… reserve a table in the patio- it is beautiful…. Highly recommend this place!!

James Artichoke My wife and I really enjoyed our experience at Melvyn’s Thanksgiving. We arrived a little early but they offered to seat us right away. The hosts at the front were very friendly and cordial. We were very happy with our table location, frankly, we felt like big shots! We were greeted by Shelly our server very warmly! From the get go my wife and I agreed she is a (Professional) front of house veteran. Throughout our whole dining experience she was in step and a pleasant dinner guide. Our food was delicious! Our steaks and sides were cooked to perfection, the cocktails, wine and dessert made for night we will remember for a very long time, especially it being on a very busy Holiday as it was. When going out on a Holiday sometimes you have experiences that sometimes end up short. Thankfully this one was not the case. Thanks to everyone at Melvyn’s for serving us, you created a night that only few can achieve. We look forward to spending another special occasion with you all of you when life throws us an opportunity! Thank you again!
