5 /5 Autumn Williams: I love the spacious outdoor area, with stringed lights and covered outdoor seating. They have a large screen displaying their menu inside the restaurant and have kind, friendly staff. The tacos durados are a hit, in fact my favorite item on the menu. They pair it with a great medium salsa that doesnt over power them. No matter the meat chosen Ive liked crunchy tacos the best! They have at least 3 salsas as options at a bar with other fresh condiments. They have Great Chile rellenos, fresh Mexican rice and their soup is shrimp soup is awesome. It has a spicy kick and the perfect amount of prawns to veggies ratio. No skimping. They make the food fresh right then when ordered so its always fresh, hot and made to order. We have even took friends from out of town who know how to make this food and they thought it was awesome. Case closed this place will be on my list of favs!

4 /5 R8CEHORSE: Overall a delicious experience! I’ve been meaning to kick the tires and was in the area so gave it a shot. This location was a couple different businesses over the past few years and was glad to see a new business come in. Upon entering the restaurant, it’s got a counter style set up where you order and find a seat. It looks like they are still figuring things out as there is a beer and wine application notice in the door. There is plenty of seating available (probably too much) as there are seating area inside and a covered exterior spot. The menu is on a flatscreen which is typical these days. The monitor next to it was serving up early 90’s pop and hip-hop music videos which was kinda funny. The food is very good and full of flavor. I ordered a super burrito and it could probably feed 2. The beans, meat, rice, and cheese all melded together for a delicious mix of flavors and textures. The salsa’s were nice as well. There was a red (spicy) and green (medium) which is a good addition to a bite or two of burrito or chips. I hope this place does well and we’ll see what the future holds.

4 /5 Afshin Afshar-Ghasemlou: On our way back to San Francisco, we discovered a fantastic spot: Sabor De Mexico in Novato. It was our first visit, and it certainly won’t be our last. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. We tried several of their popular dishes, and everything was delicious. The street tacos were especially memorable; I sampled both the carne asada and the lengua, which had perfectly balanced flavors. The homemade tortillas made a significant difference. We also shared an order of carne asada quesadillas, which were very flavorful. The restaurant offers both indoor and semi-outdoor seating and is clean and well-maintained. We ordered at the counter, and the food was brought to our table. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality of the dishes. It’s clear they use fresh, high-quality ingredients in everything, from the salsa to the expertly cooked meats. If you’re looking for a new spot for authentic Mexican cuisine, Sabor De Mexico is definitely worth a visit.

5 /5 michael brewer: I have eaten here a few times now. The staff is always friendly and the food is always GREAT. I am kind of a picky eater and they always make my order exactly as requested!!!! I am so happy this place opened. My only issue is that my go-to order is always so good that I never branch out and try anything different on the menu. One of these days I will have to try something else.

4 /5 Faith Dem: I started going to Sabor de Mexico about 3 months ago and absolutely love their super carnitas burritos. With it, you get some freshly made chips and sauce on the side. Their tomatillo, green sauce, is my favorite. Ive bought extra sauce in the past because I love it for the chips, and it is a great flavor to add to my burrito when I am eating it. The owner, Sam is a real nice man and he takes good care of his customers. Their food is consistently good and I get cravings for it often!
