Cesy Chavez Flemings NEVER disappoint!!! Food was amazing, I had the salmon very flavorful, Daughter had the filet mignon medium rare it was exquisite!! Husband had The filet mignon as well it was perfect to his taste, we also order sides like Baked potato, Mashed potato, asparagus. Service was amazing our waiter Keon P was great very attentive, he checked up on us regularly he is truly amazing!!

Cerise Bennett My first time at an experience like this. It was truly delicious and memorable. The side bar has lots of wonderful things for a seafood lover like me (baked salmon, paella, Cured salmon) supplemented by the shrimp on skewers. Marc Brown I planned to propose to my girlfriend on our Caribbean cruise near the end of December. An ill timed head cold ruined my plan. Before we made it back to San Diego, I plotted on a new venue to pop the question. Miraculously, Matsu had availability on NYE. I surprised my gf, a huge foodie, with the reservation. To my delight, it was on her list of restaurants in the area she wanted to try. I contacted the staff ahead of our reservation and coordinated a flower delivery. The food was delicious, we were stuffed in a good way by the end of courses. One of the servers brought out the flowers on cue and I asked the love of my life to marry me... she ugly cried and SAID YES! Apparently we were their first proposal. The staff was super accommodating and the GM even recorded the proposal from her stand. I highly recommend this restaurant if you love Japanese food or want to taste it done well.

Peter Xaymountry I came here to celebrate my birthday with my family. I made reservations and arrived early. We used the valet parking here. Our server was Raymond and he was amazing with the recommendations along with the customer service. I got the bone in filet, my wife and mom got the Chilean Sea Bass and my mother in law got the salmon. For our sides we got the French fries, mushrooms, asparagus and Mac and cheese. All of our dish were delicious and made to perfection. They got me a chocolate cake slice which was also amazing.

M M We had a very good dining experience at Pampas. We made a 5pm reservation for 7, and showed up 15 min before. We all were welcomed and immediately seated. The service and care was impeccable, our drink choices the Brazilian lemonade, special drink (Brazilian lemonade with Malibu Rum), Pink pampas Margarita. All were made very well. The manager, was attentive the waitress was attentive the bartender was attentive. My family had a great time and loved the food, open salad bar had fresh seafood options. And the meat was cooked great, just ask for a medium well piece or a medium rare piece its yours. Will definitely be back for any celebration or just to dine.

Nanas Gathering Urbanbotany This was a Japanese restaurant my husband and I discovered by surprise — and it was such a wonderful find. It’s very quiet; we sat down around 5 PM. They have some special items on their menu, and every dish is beautifully crafted. The sashimi is a must-order. For dessert, we tried the “Magic Grape” — it felt whimsical and unexpected! The overall atmosphere is perfect for a date or a celebration. The restaurant is located inside an office building, so you might have to look a bit carefully because the signage outside isn’t very obvious. Highly recommended — this is definitely a place I would return to. I really love all the thoughtful details in their service, even their tableware has a sense of aesthetics and design.
