Sourdough & Co. Fremont Ca - (Near Fremont, CA)

Elliot Woo We were visiting family here from L.A. They took us to this new place on Thursday night. We went in with no knowledge of this place. No expectations, period. We left the restaurant happy and very satisfied. We ordered arancini, beef tartare, Caesar salad, bucatini lemone, squid ink fettuccine and the New York steak with broccoli. Besides the bucatini, which was different than the dry one thats typically thicker and hollow, hence a bit disappointing, the rest of the dishes were all well made and fresh and delicious. NY steak was the crown jewel: perfect temp and well seasoned - one of the best steaks we have ever had. Service was very friendly, started a bit slow and not too familiar with the wine list. Overall great experience and good price points.

Brenda Strassler We were on vacation from Knoxville, TN and saw all of the 5-star reviews for this food truck. I’m here to also leave a 5-star review! The lady taking our order was so friendly. When she found out we were from out of state, she gave recommendations to several places to visit in the area, even writing it down so we wouldn’t forget. We ordered the chorizo breakfast burritos and they were delicious. They did not skimp on the portion size. It came with 3 different types of sauces, all of which were super tasty. My favorite was the habanero. I only wish we had a food truck like this by my house!

S Patzkowsky Wonderful experience. We dined outside along the river. We shared a shrimp cocktail. For dinner I had the seared scallops with spinach and mashed potatoes while my husband had the spaghetti with shrimp and crabs. Both were excellent. For dessert we had the Caramel Apple Bread Pudding.

caimiao liu Tried the Zama roll, which had mushroom and shrimp tempura, and such. The texture was very impressive. And the salmon in between made it taste smooth. The short rib with mushroom risotto was such a fire. It was so tender and flavorful. The salmon with mashed potatoes was pretty decent as well but not as impressive

Shanda Rickman We went here for our anniversary dinner for the first time. They had a flower centerpiece and champagne ready for us. The atmosphere was very inviting and intimate. The service was excellent. The staff makes you feel special and welcomed. The appetizers, entree and dessert were all very tasty. (Sea Bass and short ribs) We would come back here.

Dax Ware This was my first time eating at Maroo Korean BBQ, located in Tracy, CA. I ordered the Spicy Pork lunch meal with lemonade. I was pleasantly surprised when the waitress brought out 6 individual bowls; each came with a different sample proportion size entrées. 1) Kimchi, 2) Pickled Cucumbers, 3) Marinaded Bean Sprouts, 4) Marinaded Potato Chunks, 5) Sliced Fish Cakes, 6) Blanched Broccoli, and a small side of steamed rice. The rice and bean sprouts paired well with my spicy pork, and the other dishes complimented the main dish as mice appetizers. The lemonade was nice and sweet to round out the meal. The spicy pork was served on a hot plate that sizzled as if it was a plate of fajita meat. The flavor was very tasty to the point that I almost ordered a second one. Overall, the serving size was just enough when eaten with the side dishes. The atmosphere was nice and quiet, and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. She offered me complimentary refill of any of the side dishes that I wanted along with the refill on lemonade. I will definitely eat here again, and would recommend for anyone who likes Korean dishes to give Maroo a try.
