Richmond Eats - Richmond

Rating: 4.2 /5
Richard Katz This was the best restaurant meal I have ever had. No kidding. Im seventy seven years old and Ive eaten a lot of restaurant meals all over the world. Today I went riding around town at lunchtime thinking I would really like to sink my teeth into a couple of good tamales. I drove past Masa right here in my home neighborhood of POint Richmond; Masa makes a righteous tamale, no doubt about that. But I wanted to explore; I wanted to go find something new and special. I motorcycled over to 23rd street, went past restaurants and taco trucks, all of them known to be good. I went up and down 22nd and 23rd street, thinking that what I really wanted was tamales from a mercado like I used to get in the Mission at the front of the food stores, inexpensive and delicious and really fresh. Then I decided to head down MacDonald for no good reason and BOOM! right there where there used to be a place called the Garage, theres a new restaurant Richmond Eats. They had a sandwich board out front that said "3 Tamales $10" but only on Saturday and Sunday, and this was Tuesday. I parked the bike and went inside and sure enough they would cook me up some pork tamales, three for ten bucks. Im not going to try and tell you how good they are. You gotta go buy them for yourself and your kids and eat them blazing hot fresh from the kitchen. Dont take my word for it, just go. On my way out the woman at the counter told me "Those are Salvadorean tamales." Nothing wrong with Mexican tamales, no sir, nothing at all, no no no. But you gotta check out Richmond Eats. Salvadorean and Mexican. And man, this restaurant is so clean it SPARKLES.

Bonnie Machuca What an amazing experience! We were guests of a 24 person party and we were so welcomed by the staff. The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly. The food was off the hook. The drinks were so unique. I even bought a few fun items in their curio shop. Please come and support this magical place! They are a gem for the community!

Orla by Michael Mina - Santa Monica

Hayley Di Naso You can always expect great service at a Mina restaurant. This location is absolutely stunning. Located in the back of the hotel lobby, with a beautiful large bar, and a charming sun room; perfect for a lunch/sunset escape. The menu was really fun, Mediterranean style fare. We loved the chili oil as a table garnish. Great place for a lunch meeting or cocktail with the girls.

Carlos Cota Our first time trying this place and we will definitely be back. Gonna add it to our usual spots. The food was fresh and high quality, well worth the price. We liked the atmosphere and the service was very friendly. We will be back!

Wild Onion Bistro and Bar - Palo Alto

Andy Nougat Its nestled to the lobby of Citrine hotel. The food is good. Id say better and less greasy than most brunch places. The price point is a bit on the spendy side but not overly so. You pay a little more for quality. Coffee is made to order freshly ground beans and not mass produced while it sits in a pot.

NoName Non-artist Great place! The atmosphere is beautiful and the soup dumplings was amazing! Thank you so much for accommodating for the long wait for my food and having it be on the house! It was super generous of you!
