Tailgaters Sports Bar & Grill - (Near Antioch, CA)

4 /5 Celia T: We went for our friends moms birthday during their Salsa night. All the staff from the waitress, the security at the door, and the people at door taking payment were really nice and helpful. We ordered the burger eggrolls, the fries, and the club sanwhich. The fries and the sandwich were good, but I would not recommend the burger eggrolls. Not very good. The music was great!! And the drinks were good too. Well definitely go back again.

4 /5 Monica de Leon: Large open space inside with plenty of screens, has pool tables, decent food and the best part, Singo!! We had so much fun playing the game while we waited for our food and then while eating. The service was amazing! Our server was very attentive and kept coming back to our table to make sure we had what we needed. We ordered wings and the cheese fries, very yummy! Id definitely recommend this place. Well be back to try more of the menu items.

4 /5 Jim Sanford: I have been going to this restaurant since it first opened. It has always had great food and a wide selection of beers. Over the past couple years the clientele has changed. It has gone from a family sports bar to something else. The food is still good and the service quick and friendly. However, the local ambience has changed. Still a decent place to eat. Most old-timers leave before six or seven pm to avoid the young crowd coming in the evening.

We were greeted and seated when a man came to our table and told us we needed to be out by 9pm and essentially made us promise him because apparently the restaurant turns into a club and kids are no longer allowed on the premises - his words not ours. We thought it was bizarre especially since the waitress or hostess never mentioned anything the entire night. At 8:35pm a woman started blaring music so loud no one at our table could talk without yelling directly into each other’s ear. It was very frustrating. She announced it was karaoke time but nothing about the restaurant turning into a club, or kids not being welcome. At that point the atmosphere seemed to shift with a more rambunctious crowd coming in and people from the bar moving into the restaurant portion. The lights didn’t dim, tables weren’t moved, no dance floor was available. It was an overall disappointing experience and I’m not sure we will go back.

5 /5 Akita Hodge: Karaoke night is a hit, family friendly atmosphere, security keeps it safe and very professional, Dove is an EXCELLENT server with the cutest fly style ever!!!! Great atmosphere, great vibes, lots of large screen TVs with clear displays and pool tables.
