Rashaad Forehand Great local spot that is hidden but a good gym in the USD Linda Vista area. They have good live music and the local crowd really shows up to hear it.

Victoria Harp I got a chance to eat at Cask Strength Bar and Kitchen before the grand opening and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! My boyfriend and I got the truffle fries and the stuffed mushroom as appetizers. The fries were excellently seasoned and the mushroom was so delicious I would order it alone if I just wanted a light meal. My boyfriend got the Cajun noodles and I got the lamb. I am not a huge lamb person, but it was so tasty and delicious. The meat was soft and also seasoned exceptionally. The atmosphere was great and the exposed beam is beautiful. The serving staff was great and extremely friendly. I would definitely go there again for date night or meet up with friends there after work.

unicorns and rainbows and chicken and stars Sometimes you are fortunate enough to stumble upon a previously unknown restaurant and end up experiencing food as art. This is NOT your "get drunk and eat AYCE sushi" place (well I guess it could be)- it is an authentic Japanese dining experience with a master at the helm and his family as the amazing crew. Get the omakase menu for something as memorable in flavor as it is in appearance. Cant say enough about this place- do yourself a favor and try it. You might see me there and Im driving from San Clemente. Its THAT good.

Nicki Mahoney I HIGHLY suggest you get the biscuits and gravy or add the gravy on your breakfast. One of the best I’ve ever had. Owner was slammed so that’s why service wasn’t 5 stars but if I’m in town I will be returning. You won’t be disappointed. I got the ‘Logger breakfast’

Gabriela B Chavez This is exactly the kind of place I get excited to write reviews about! Everything was absolutely 5 stars. My husband and I tried the regular burrito de asada and the tacos de pastor — both were incredible. The salsa and overall flavor of everything was immaculate. We’ll definitely be coming back when in the area! Well worth the stop.
