The Shore Room - (Near Oceanside, CA)

Hungry Horse Good food, fast service. We loved the Super Carnitas burrito and Beef Rolled Tacos with sour cream and guac. The salsas were classic and flavorful. Horchata and Jamaica didn’t taste watered down at all. Just like a Southern California taco shop. We also thought the staff was attentive and friendly. Good came out really fast and the whole place was clean. Oh yeah and homemade tortillas on the weekends. 10/10!

Carl Foisy From start to finish this place is spectacular. An awesome addition to downtown San Jose‘s dining scene. Locally owned and clearly organized and operating very well. Our waitress Cynthia was super helpful and gave us the guidance we needed as first time diners. Their menu was reasonably priced based on the final product. Steaks cooked perfectly, appetizers brought promptly, and a couple of fun surprises along the way. The four of us all enjoyed ourselves, and felt very comfortable relaxing in their dining room enjoying a meal with good company. I look forward to going back and trying other Menu items, the family style sharing was indeed a hit.

William Evanusich So these guys have been open for 5 months I think Kurt said. His wife, Yesenia did an amazing job on my Carne Asada Burrito. It was very unique and the meat was not like "all the other mexican resaurants", which is a GOOD thing! The Salsa was VERY good, close to the best I have had in a while, great consistency with a smokey flavor. The chips were also perfectly done. I must bring the kid back for their Shrimp specials since he likes shrimp so much! One last thing, Kurt (not Kobain) and I had a VERY interesting conversation about real things, and it was quite refreshing! Keep up the good work Kurt and Yesenia!

Liann Amagan I was a little worried about parking but I found street parking a parking garage not too far. Located in a little plaza, you have both indoor and outdoor seating to choose from! I asked what bowl was the most popular and they said its the Thai Curry and I added chicken. The quality and vegetables were so fresh, the curry was good and I devoured my bowl! My friend for the rancheros bowl and she said it reminded her of a taco but the salsa was so good, we devoured out bowls so quickly and they made the so quickly and fresh. I got their citrus green tea and my friend got a probiotic soda which was also Yummy. Its nice to see a vegan and gluten free place to pick up food. Cant wait to try more on their menu!

Ed Lee I had really good ramen here! It wasn’t necessarily the most authentic, but the portions were large, and it had a lot of fixins (in the chicken black garlic ramen). Kind staff, convenient location.
