The Tropicale Palm Springs - (Near Palm Springs, CA)

Lindsey G Joey nails the modern, moody, upscale vibe without feeling pretentious. The ambiance is stylish, the cocktails are top-tier, and the food is truly impressive. They also have a great wine selection that pairs well with just about everything on the menu. We started with the Korean cauliflower, which was decadent, perfectly cooked, and packed with flavor—easily one of the standout dishes of the night. For mains, I ordered the bone-in ribeye while my boyfriend had the steak & sushi combo. Both were cooked beautifully and delivered on flavor and presentation. What really set this visit apart was the exceptional service. I have a few complicated allergies, and our server went above and beyond—checking with the chef multiple times to ensure everything was safe. The chef even prepared special side dishes so I could enjoy a full meal without compromise, which meant a lot. Joey delivers on ambiance, cocktails, food, and hospitality. Easily one of the best dining experiences at Valley Fair—and a place I’ll absolutely be returning to.

bhanu khera Love this brunch place! This was my second time visiting during my Bay Area trip, and I love their food. I definitely overate. I tried the veggie omelette, pancakes, and French toast. Everything was amazing except the tiramisu pancake (it was okayish; the cream on top tasted a bit too milky). But apart from that, everything was so good. Definitely recommend this place for brunch!

Patrick Pelucca We were surprised to see the restaurant so busy on a Monday evening. As there were only two of us, they seated immediately. Service was quick and good. The food was served quickly and was spot on good! My wife remarked that she glad to see this restaurant so busy and still in business; as restaurant chains are closing, the OSF is still crushing it!

Sarah Chase Great date night spot (with a reservation). Even with the reservation, we had to wait in a crowded waiting area for about 15 minutes. But the service was quick and attentive once seated. The grilled artichoke was excellent (so flavorful!) and the French dip was actually so good - we worried it was over hyped or over ordered because it is one of the more affordable mains but its excellent. Ive had better brownies but it was very satisfying as a shared dessert. Would recommend.

Dj Calderon Didnt have food as I stopped by for a quick drink on my way to the Fresno State game but service and speed and the drink were all great! If theyre open late, Ill stop by on my way back to Bakersfield to try some food lol
