Trendys Restaurant - (Near Redding, CA)

Scott Seeley Not so hidden, but tucked away sports bar, brew pub and family eatery. I guess its part of the Portola Hotel. From the lobby, out the large doors to the north then left right away. Cant miss it if youve gotten this far. Newly remodeled, so less charm, but makes up for it with shiny cleanliness and sparkle which is getting harder to find. Walls of TVs and there was live music when we were there. The space probably wasnt designed for live music, but I know its a draw for others. Front, wait and bar staff were friendly and did an excellent job serving our table. Attentive without hovering. Basic sports bar menu done with a few extras and done better than most similar eateries. We were all satisfied with burgers, sandwiches, pizza and a couple salads which we shared. The crispy n fried items werent too heavy and the food itself was quality cuts and selections. Were not drinkers but the others in the restaurant seemed pleased. Im sure the other reviews will chime in. Well be back. If youre in the area for a few days Id put it on your list when everyone in your group wants something different from each other.

McLaughlin Sean (Gloff) We needed some quick Sunday grub, ordered 3 medium pizzas, a salad and the garlic twists. Great pizza, not just for Clearlake, but on is own! Best ranch Ive had in a while! Wife said the salad was phenomenal as well. The garlic sticks were excellent, they use a bread Ive never had as a garlic twist, and it was surprising, but tasty. Only criticism would be the garlic sticks are a touch too chewy.

Maribel Diaz I did not like my salmon because it wasn’t cooked all the way. But the rest was okay. This place is across from the Hilton Hotel where we stayed, very convenience.

Warren Wigh My family and I loved eating here. The staff are so friendly and the food is fantastic!! You can’t go wrong with anything that is ordered here. The shish kebab is their main specialty. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Ami Sharadin Khai We tried the beef wrap and the beef kebab plates, both came with garlic sauce and a yogurt-based sauce that paired perfectly with the smoky, juicy, and flavorful kebabs. The meat was well-seasoned and cooked just right, with a nice balance between tenderness and char. For the price point, it was a hearty and satisfying meal that left us full and happy. We also tried their lentil-based soup and tea, both of which were excellent, comforting, flavorful, and a great complement to the main dishes. The restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, and the service was quick and efficient. Overall, a great spot for a delicious, filling meal at a reasonable price. Would definitely come back!
