5 /5 Zsa Zsa Mueller: The food was DELICIOUS!! Not too expensive for how great the quality is. The atmosphere was SO calm, loved the music and it was very clean and peaceful. We absolutely love Carlos he was so helpful & the food came out so fast!! Love this place.

5 /5 Hazel Venezia: We chose Urban Plates in Irvine for our Sunday supper this past weekend and loved every bite! Their menu is full of healthy, flavorful options, all freshly made to order with great-quality ingredients. We enjoyed the seared tuna plate, steak chimichurri, Thai chicken salad, surf & turf plate, and a steak sandwich with chicken tortilla soup. Everything was delicious, but our favorites were definitely the Thai chicken salad, the tortilla soup, and the surf & turf platter. Dessert was a showstopper—beautifully decorated and absolutely to die for. The Mango Tart and Hummingbird Cake were standouts (and yes, the flowers on top are edible!). The restaurant itself is warm, cozy, and stylishly modern. Service was quick and kind, and a big thank-you to Izzy, the manager on duty, and her team for their attentive, welcoming hospitality. We’ll definitely be back soon for another relaxed, flavorful meal and those unforgettable desserts!

4 /5 Scott Besemann: Way too many ways to order. Kiosk when you enter but another sign ways to go to counter to order. Probably helpful when its busy but on a quiet night...I was unsure where to go. Liked the dinner choices...Surf and Turf was pretty good. Medium rare steak and nicely cooked shrimp. Sesame broccoli was solid, mushroom stuffing was either mushy and wet or very dry. I would avoid it. Enjoyed the patio seating with fire for a restful evening. Definitely worth checking out.

5 /5 Ryan Choi: Steak plate and salads were super good here along with their wine and sodas. Super friendly staff and food came out really quick. Love the ambience here. Hugo was very nice and attentive and made sure that our food came out correct. We will be back!

5 /5 Angela Magro: Having lived in Tustin for 8 years now, I’m a bit ashamed to say I’ve never been to Urban Plates for reasons I don’t know. I’ve been wanting to come for a while and my partner and I finally made it in when we had a child-free night to ourselves. My mom is from England so I’m a big fan of roast dinners - no it’s not a full English roast but it offers the same fresh, hearty, and comforting taste that I grew up with. I love steak and I love it most when steak isn’t well done…the grass fed steak had the perfect amount of pink and was so tender. The roasted Brussel sprouts were also cooked perfectly, and the (very) generous serving of mashed potatoes was smooth, creamy, and just buttery enough (I didn’t get gravy). My partner ordered the chicken club with fries and a side of tomato basil soup…he ate all that in about 10 minutes. Again, huge serving and very fresh looking food. We sat outside with the fire and I’m kicking myself for not coming by sooner. Ambience is cosy and very family friendly, food is delicious and service was super quick and friendly. Thank you, Hugo, and staff for a wonderful first time. We will be back!!
