5 /5 Eleni Jew: Freshest meat I’ve ever had, cooked to order and prepared with all the fixings. Amazing burgers but cash only and carry-out. Burgers and fries are delivered to your car by friendly staff. It’s still a family owned business after 60 years!

5 /5 shirley priestley: Oh my goodness, what wouldnt I say about this place. The burgers are amazing. And, when you order fries theres really enough for an army. I definitely appreciate that part. On my last visit, the owners daughter came out to tell me that they had to start over the burger because it wasnt cooked the way I had requested. I really appreciated the apology. Additionally, the owner came out and said hello on my way out and again apologize for making me wait. Hes a perfectionist, at this price point for a burger. I definitely appreciate that. This is a place I would go again and again.

5 /5 Antonio Heredia: This restaurant is always good if you’re in for comfort food like a great burger and a literal bag of fries alone with a nice cold shake made like they were in the 50’s! Overall great service and awesome staff that care about their customers! The meat is made all to speck in-house and aged for 24hours and the fries are steak fries made right!

4 /5 Megan Johnston: My grandma, great aunt, and great uncle went here for dinner today! They prefer that you call your order ahead, but we didnt and the girl who took our order was SUPER nice! Their menu is much more limited than before COVID, but according to my grandma, theyre still the best burgers on the planet. My readers, Im inclined to agree! My burger was the perfect medium rare with plenty of toppings, just the way I like it. 2 mama burgers and 1 order of fries was more than enough food for 4 people. At $41, that means $10.25 per person for dinner and plenty of leftover fries to make home fries for breakfast tomorrow. Vals is unfortunately only open 2 days a week and is take out only. They do however have a few tables out back that you can eat at. Between the takeout only rule and folding tables out back, theres not much in the way of ambiance, but it was hopping with the parking lot crowded with customers cars. Totally worth it and I hope that their dining room will be open the next time I come to California! Once the dining room is open, Ill give them the 5th star!

5 /5 Deezys Incorporated: Since covid hit the place has been shut down mostly but they do open here and there (only on weekends) and when they do you gotta jump on it. I love this place been coming here since i was a kid. Always have to support there business and they have the best burgers and fries around. Worth every pennie! Go support!
