Wok of Flame 顺利饭店 - (Near Davis, CA)

Brenda Manning My go-to favorites: Texas egg-rolls for appetizer…(cream cheese, hint of jalapeño, a sweet jalapeño jelly-type dip). Not very spicy but just enough of a kick to get the jalapeño flavor, but overall crispy cream cheesy-deliciousness. The Sesame Garlic Filet Mignon…melts in your mouth (I order medium), delicious sauce- very savory, buttery, garlicky. House salad with their creamy lemon-dill dressing and their loaded sweet potato (HUGE perfectly baked sweet potato, with cinnamon, brown sugar, and butter) are my usual sides. Hubby ordered a burger and enjoyed it. He usually gets the ribs or the sampler platter and has always liked everything. They have a great selection of drinks and different types of lemonades, and the drinks have always been strong (in a good way!) every time we’ve gone. That “other” roadhouse not too far down the freeway is always crowded, and although I don’t have specific negatives about that place, I do enjoy the more laid-back and less noisy/chaotic atmosphere of Original Roadhouse and I’ve found my magic tasty go-tos :)

Ameen Shawwa Panini Kabob Grill at Irvine Park Place absolutely deserves five stars. The food here is consistently fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — you can really taste the quality in every bite. I ordered a few items, and everything from the grilled meats to the rice and salads was spot on. The portions are generous, the ingredients are fresh, and it all feels like a healthy yet satisfying meal. The restaurant itself is clean, modern, and comfortable, with a nice atmosphere whether you’re dining in or taking food to go. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything came out quickly and just right. It’s clear they take pride in both their service and food. If you’re in Irvine and want something that’s both delicious and wholesome, Panini Kabob Grill is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Hannah A. Ko The food and service here are awesome! Tatjana (TJ) was such a wonderful server and worked so hard. She has such a positive vibe and really loves her job. My husband and I have been here a bunch of times, and shes seriously the best server Ive ever met. She recommended good food for us and taking care of us very much.

Kristen Had a wonderful lunch here. Brunch is served on weekends and I highly recommend the sunrise spritz. It was divine. The food was great! We ordered a classic burger, buttermilk chicken sandwich, chicken fingers, and we all got french fries. Service was great, food was wonderful, and look forward to coming back!

Jason Becht Great local spot with a clean bar, solid beer list, and hearty food (the French Dip with au jus was on point). The vibe here is laid-back but can light up quick once the jukebox gets going — everyone’s singing, smiling, and having a good time. Nelson, the owner, is a genuinely cool and down-to-earth guy who makes sure everyone feels welcome. Definitely a place to make your regular stop.

Jacob Jones Wonderful food, great atmosphere and stellar service all for a more than reasonable price. I ordered the Calamari, Shrimp and Chips and a strawberry lemonade. The Calamari was perfectly crispy and well seasoned, with great flavor. The same can be said of the Shrimp and Chips, with great flavor and well seasoned. The portions for both were an excellent value, well worth the price. The Strawberry Lemonade was very good as well. With all of that said, the service was truly exceptional. Steve greeted me with a smile when I walked in the door and answered any questions that I and other customers had, as well as ensuring customers got the most value from their experience. Steve was eager to help and go the extra mile, clearly taking pride in the work he does. Overall I had an excellent experience dining at The Albright, and will be back without a doubt the next time Im in Santa Monica.
