Christopher Rocca Any great dining experience is a reflection of the staff and then the food. If you’re coming here for dinner, ask for Job. He was professional, pleasant, friendly, and intimately familiar with the menu. We started with the clam chowder, lobster and shrimp taquitos and warm crab dip. The chowder was packed full of clams and absolutely fabulous. Similarly, the lobster and shrimp taquitos are an absolute must have. They were simply out of this world. For my main course, I had the Seared Hokkaido Sea Scallops, again exceeding all expectations and falling into the excellent category. I paired my scallops with the 2023 Kettmeir Pinot Grigio based on Job’s recommendations, which was an excellent choice. My wife elected to have the lavender paradise zero proof cocktail, which she found refreshing. We wrapped up the meal with the warm butter cake topped with vanilla ice cream and complimented with berries. What could be bad it was a winner. I would highly recommend if you’re in town and have the time to come here for dinner. All of the staff was fantastic but our waiter Job definitely was a stand out. The food was exceptional, and I don’t think that you will be disappointed. Lastly, we had a table overlooking the Queen Mary, but the restaurant affords panoramic views that include the city. These views would be difficult to match at other restaurant in Long Beach.

E. Dominic Black Wonderful brunch menu with plenty of options. Excellent drinks and espresso. Service is attentive and polite. Seating indoors is quiet, outside has views of a little lake.

Heather Martin My husband would come here as a teenager with his grandparents. He has such fond memories here so we decided to stay at the hotel and enjoy the Terrace restaurant. We had a lovely time and impressive that the hotel and restaurant are still just as wonderful. The food and service were both excellent. The atmosphere is peaceful and overlooks the pool. A great spot for brunch or lunch.

Michelle Had an absolutely amazing night here at Poesia, starting off with finding easy street parking downstairs. The immediate vibe we got walking in was artsy and cozy, and a bit of mysterious. Super good spot for meeting friends or a nice date
