Sparkles333 What a fun dinning experience! I enjoyed seeing the art and decor around the place. Food was yummy. They offer a large menu. Their shortbread cookie was the best thing from the meal!

Alex Zepka We seated at the bar as the host told us there was nothing left that night. So, yes, it was busy, even on a Tuesday night. We mostly came over because of their cocktails menu and it didnt disappoint. They have a short list of "permanent" and a longer lost of seasonal drinks. We also had dinner. They claim to cook their steaks at 1400 degrees. I tried the NY steak and, yes, it was cooked to perfection, but I was not blown away with the meat quality. I wish they has a hanger steak instead. The brussel sprouts were some of th best we ever had. A little on th sweet side, but still great and the portion was huge. The service was hot and cold. The main bartender was super friendly but the second bartender was a bit clueless and too busy to help us. We were basically left alone for most of the time. Food took a long time to arrive and they got me th wrong sauce for th steak (they corrected it afterwards). Overall, this was a nice place for dinner and drinks, but there are definitely blind spots, particularly in the service.

Alisa B. I love a good cut of eel, and I would recommend the Unagi Kaba-Yaki from here! A generous portion, and you have the option to turn it into an ochazuke. The housemade broth to pour over (optional) adds a complexity to the simple dish. As the eel is so rich, it allows you to change the flavor halfway through the meal :) Funny that they call it an "unagi paella" haha Their oxtail miso soup is also pretty yummy! Rich in flavor and lots of umami. A great start to my lunch. My party also shared an order of the Chicken Karaage, which was really tasty! Crispy and a creamy tangy dipping sauce. Very decent appetizer! Ambiance here is quite industrial, with a bar and minimal decor. I can imagine its really different and lively in the evenings. During lunch, it was chill and easy to talk with everyone at my table.

7.Teriyaki Madness

Address: 875 Middlefield Rd, Redwood City, CA 94063

Jason Dunn I ordered the orange chicken bowl, and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food, and the fact that I could select only the vegetables I wanted to have, and I could avoid having garlic added to the vegetables! You dont normally get that many choices at a fast food place, and I appreciated their thoughtfulness in asking me exactly what I wanted. The junior size portion is great for a small lunch, and it was exactly what I was looking for. The food is flavorful, though this particular dish is definitely not spicy in the least. They have sriracha sauce on the table if you need a little kick in your meal!

Tsty_byte We came for dinner experience here, the menu offers a nice variety across regions dishes. Overall, the food was flavorful and well presented, There’s some dishes that really stood out and are worth recommending. The tomato carrot soup was rich and comforting with well-balanced flavors. The Neptune platter is a great option if you want to sample multiple starters in one go. The Bombay beet slider was surprisingly good light, healthy, and flavorful. For mains, the Kaikari Kurma was so rich in coconut flavor which was perfect when paired with parota. The Creamstone chicken was also very good, and the Pathar ka Gosht had nice flavor without being overly spicy. We’ve also heard they are especially well known for their veg and non-veg lunch thalis, which offer a wide variety and are quite popular. The drinks and desserts were enjoyable, and all dishes were presented beautifully. Service was exceptional attentive and polished, similar to what you’d expect from an upscale restaurant. The ambiance is pleasant, with both indoor seating and outdoor options available. Overall, a solid dining experience with standout flavors and thoughtful presentation.

Jenny Redo The pizza and appetizer was great. We ordered the shrimp appetizer and the shrimp was crunchy yet perfectly cooked. We ordered the cheese pizza with pepperoni on top. It had a great char and was very tasty. Burger was ok they should add more lettuce as the bun got soggy fast.

Our meal started with some chips and guacamole, for the main: the meat molcajete and a sushi roll called “Cachichurris roll”, drink: virgin pina colada, we liked every item!!!!! We are definitely coming back.

Gionna Very nice restaurant with unique food options. The cocktails and all the menu items I tried are delicious. I highly recommend the calm chowder and they try anything seasonal. I went during the summer and again during the fall and wanted this lemon dessert but it was gone. The fall dessert was just as delicious. The only thing I didnt like was they allow dogs inside the restaurant and one was sitting on the fabric bench at the table. I am highly allergic so that was disappointing. Otherwise I love this restaurant and would like to return in the future and highly recommend it.

Swetha Joswala Higuma Japanese Restaurant is such a gem! The place is super cute with both indoor and outdoor seating, and they even have some private parking in the back, which is a big plus. The food was amazing, and I have to say, the mochi mango ice cream and cheesecake were sooo good—definitely a must-try! Just a heads-up, there’s a $20 minimum purchase per person if you’re dining as a group of four. Also, if you’re planning to go on a busy evening, calling ahead for a reservation is a good idea since it can get crowded.
