3 /5 Angilee LeConte: This restaurant is absolutely stunning. The inside is gorgeous and very open. The patio is lovely overlooking the lake with a beautiful view. I can definitely see it being rented for private parties or even weddings. The staff is friendly and very accommodating and the drinks yummy. Thats all the positive. The food is a HUGE disappointment and I dont see this restaurant making it unless they redo the menu. What you get does NOT match the price point. We ordered a snapper which was market price We received a whole snapper on a bed of lettuce for $60. We had another filet meal that was $38 and it was served with onions, peppers, thin slices of radishes, pumpkin seed and a light sprinkle of corn. THAT WAS NOT A $38 OR $60 MEAL. The rest of our orders were extremely small portion, most of the steals meats very dry and over cook, the tacos dry. My guests did like the brunch potatoes with brisket and eggs. The food was NOT very good, the portions very small, meals very incomplete for the price. I hope they reevaluate their menu, because there are too many options in Boynton to spend a lot of money just for a beautiful restaurant. I really hope they start making the food comparable to the price. Once again lovely restaurant, very friendly staff, very nice cocktails. Food need a lot of revamping...

5 /5 Lee Syrop: They have been open for 20 months, but I never heard of Alu - until someone posted it on Nextdoor very recently. Ive even passed it several times and never noticed it. Well ... if you want great food at good prices, on a beautiful lake check out Alu. We went tonight with friends. The restaurant is beautiful. The view on the lake is very peaceful. The food was excellent. Go try it. Say hello to Richard (the owner) and then let others know to try it.

5 /5 SoyChunky: All I have is one word and that’s Neli. You might be wondering what I am talking about. When you come into this restaurant, that’s who you want to ask for to help you. With my first time being here, I want to say, I was lost confused, not knowing which way to or what to order on the menu. But Neli Was the light to my way. With her, we were able to choose delicious meal options for me and my date. The drinks came Fast and she was very attentive to our needs. This whole dining experience would’ve not been the same without her. At the end, She recommended us The best thing by far. The Horchata ice cream with tres leche cake. Here’s a little tip that she told us “mix it!”. In the end, I would recommend this restaurant and Neli As a package deal for the best experience ever.

5 /5 lrtsamurai1: Came for a veterans social event featuring a local congresswoman to discuss veterans issues while enjoying delicious food. The owners, managers and servers were a joy to talk with and very welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious, I had two carne asada tacos one birria taco with rice and beans. The food was very flavorful. Additionally, I had a bite of my friend’s peach cobbler empanadas with vanilla ice cream even though I’m not into sweets and it was perfect, not too sweet and not too bland. I would definitely recommend to friends and family.
