American Charlie Grill & Tavern - (Near Panama City Beach, FL)

Bob Jewell Great place for breakfast! We have been going for the past 5 years. I love their Chocolate Chip Muffins with butter. In addition they offer Stuffed Cream Cheese pancakes. These 2 items were my favorite items. We went a few days ago and they removed my Chocolate Chip muffins from their menu. Michael was our server and offered several other options. I got their honey bran muffin which tasted really good. With my favorite muffins missing I thought I would try something new. So I tried the new Deep Fried French toast. For some reason I did not like the taste, but the eggs and bacon I got with it had good flavor. Thank you Mimi’s for a wonderful meal with family.

Matthew Raymond I had a craving for cheese fries one day so I checked them out. The food is fantastic and has a lot of options for just a sandwich/burger joint. The place is very clean and has a nice laid back atmosphere. Allyssa at the front counter was super pleasant to interact with. Absolutely recommend stopping by!

Erin D Ordered a burger with avocado and fried egg that has glazed balsamic dressing, with maduros ( sweet plantains) on the side. Food quality was excellent. I just wanted to give praise to the restraint staff and manager as everyone seemed to genuinely enjoy their job and seemed happy. Charlie S. Was knowledgeable and attentive without hovering and helped my husband navigate the menu. My husband had also thoroughly enjoyed his burger with guava BBQ sauce, cheese and potato straws with sweet potatoes on the side with savory seasonings. He got the plantain bread pudding that had whipped cream and caramel sauce. The coleslaw had its very own delicious unique flavor. The highlight of the whole place was the antique ship decor placed around the restaurant and photos of Hemingway himself. On the way out a staff member informed us that the candles on display were being sold by a local merchant and are refillable. This is now a new favorite restaurant.

Amelia Chilling Forgot to write this review because my friend and I were tipsy and had just been to a funeral and life is hard- this is for September. Let me tell you: Tamika was the best waitress ever. My friend and I ordered two baskets of mozzarella sticks. Zero judgement from Tamika. In fact, she thought it was funny and shared plenty of laughs with us. The cheese? Superb, and laid on cabbage to separate the oil. Genius. 100/10 experience. Tamika if you still work here, you’re my favorite server of all time and you deserve a raise. Much love! Also the floor was clean which was awesome considering it was in the evening downtown. If you know you know!

taylor Sat outside on the patio with my family for happy hour. Our server Kyra, greeted us as we sat down and got our drinks right away! She was quick with taking our order and everything came out quickly and hot. She was very attentive and was constantly checking on us. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back! Everyone was really nice from the host to the food runners great service all around!

Rick Kummers Great place! I’ve never been there before so this is my first trip there! Bartender was awesome and was spot on! 2 for 1 well drinks , can’t beat it! Delicious! Food was very good and plenty of it! Will be back again soon!
