Bahama Breeze - (Near Jacksonville, FL)

3 /5 Sean Varney: I just visited Bahama Breeze Island Grill. When I walked in, the restaurant looked nice, well-decorated with a good atmosphere. I was seated in the bar area with a menu, but it took quite a while before anyone came over to take my drink order. The restaurant wasn’t busy at all, and there were plenty of servers around, so it wasn’t a case of being short-staffed or the kitchen being overwhelmed. Since it was happy hour, I ordered a half-off appetizer, the coconut shrimp. It was decent, though it probably could have been cooked a little less. For my main dish, I tried the blackened mahi tacos. The fish was delicious, but the tortillas were cold, tough, and hard to bite through, so I ended up just eating the filling. My server was friendly, but overall the experience was underwhelming. I’m probably not going to return.

5 /5 Craig Nixon: I wasnt expecting much in the way of quality dining, just a quick and convenient lunch stop. The indoor/outdoor patio captures the Caribbean ambience better than the main restaurant. We were promptly greeted and seated at a tall table on the patio featuring aluminum chairs tables made from 55 gallon steel barrels. The server and service was great. Then our orders arrived. I was NOT expecting such great taste, having the coconut shrimp tacos. My wifes cocktail was expertly mixed and served. Overall great experience.

5 /5 Lee Hullinger: Highly recommend! We loved the Ahi tuna appetizer, and the tropical chicken salad and chicken pineapple bowl entrees were excellent. Great atmosphere with a Caribbean vibe. Our server was Sky, and she was fantastic and very attentive to us. Excellent food and service. We will be back for sure! Thank you!

5 /5 Alice S.: Trying my favorite place at a new location. As always outstanding service, friendly staff and attentive managers who will go above and beyond if something is wrong. I came in with family on a Wednesday evening 6/25/25 to celebrate special event. We ordered crab dip with the cheeses. Flights of specialty margaritas and other drinks. I had ahi tuna salad that was supper fun summer fun fruit add on and very refreshing. Also we had steak and ribs. We topped it off with dessert and it was flaming!!!
