Beach House - (Near Pompano Beach, FL)

5 /5 Shula R: Located on Pompano Beach near to the fishing pier, this restaurant and bar is a gem! Very spacious, multi level, indoor and outdoor seating, well versed menu, and delightful drinks are just some of the highlights of this spot. My favorite though is the upstairs stadium type seating that overlooks the beach…amazing!!! Service was pretty good and our waiter was knowledgeable and made spot on suggestions. Started with the Mint to Bee cocktail and it was strong in the most perfect way. Knob Creek, honey, mint, lemon are a delicious refreshing combo. Then came the crispy fresh catch which delivered on fresh and crispy. The challah bun was a nice surprise and the slaw was a good addition to brighten it up. At our server’s recommendation we swapped out the fresh cut chips with the Parmesan potatoes and OMG!! It was a hunk a hunk of burning love. Highly recommend for your tastebuds but maybe not your waistline. Lastly we finished off with a key lime pie. Solid key lime pie but nothing over the top. Looking forward to returning to try more items and enjoy that view.

5 /5 C-dna Mari (Mari): THE spot! This place has all the things you could ask for if you want excellent food, excellent service and a breathtaking view and ambiance. We were a party of 12, I knew it would be a bit of a challenge but this restaurant out did it for us. The service was outstanding, the food came out in perfect timing and the seating arrangement took only a few minutes before we were all seated. The food was outstanding, everyone had great comments, we ordered the shrimp and grits which were very fresh and perfectly cooked, the burger was delicious and the fries were perfect, not soggy and crispy. The shrimp tacos were really good, the only thing I do have to say the rice and beans portion was extremely small and the mango salsa was also very small, I have to say it is a very small plate, which compared to the others I would consider it a snack. They could even add an additional taco and add a scoop more of the rice and beans and it would be a perfect meal. For dessert we had to order their key lime pie, it was very delicious, could probably go back just for that. And lastly, their alcoholic drinks, they are delicious! The margaritas and the their mojitos are outstanding! We will definitely be going back!

3 /5 Mia: My husband took us on a date here as it’s a place he frequents with his coworkers. Based on his experiences and my experience, there are things here that really are hit or miss. I ordered the braised short rib, which was cooked well, but was under salted. The plate also came with shredded potato casserole, which came curdled which ruined the texture (see photo). I honestly expected more considering the price ($37). We also ordered the trout dip as an appetizer which was delicious! Unfortunately the pita it came with had an awful aftertaste like the oil they cooked them in was rancid. Of course, the view is great, but it seems like that’s all the place has going for it. I would not recommend.

5 /5 Jennifer Bridgers: We had an exceptional meal on NYE! The hostess was pleasant and seated us right away. Our waitress Kayla was a Rockstar! She was attentive, helpful and friendly! Our food was fantastic and cooked perfectly! We had sushi, key lime chicken and filet mignon. We loved the parmesan potatoes as a side! For drinks I had the Pompanotini, which was amazing! My husband would love it if the restaurant could stock Balvine 12. We had the key lime pie a few nights before and in our opinion is the BEST in Florida!! We tried several key lime pies on our visit to Key West the week prior. The Beach House is the clear key lime pie winner!! I appreciate the GM Thad for a great overall experience! We cant wait to come back to Pompano and dine at the Beach House!! We highly recommend!!
