5 /5 Felicia: The ladies and I ventured out once again to a place we’d never been, and it did not disappoint! It was a beautiful evening by the water—great company, dolphins making a few surprise appearances, a stunning sunset, and delicious food. Every dish we ordered was absolutely amazing and cooked to perfection. I have a shellfish allergy and was a bit nervous at first, but there was no need to worry. While there weren’t many options without shrimp as the main ingredient, what was available was sooo good! The crab cake and the coconut rice were the stars of the show, with the fried rice coming in a very close second. Our server was pleasant. Overall, it was a great experience and we’ll definitely be back! Note: The only downside was the parking situation—it’s probably best to valet to minimize the risk of being towed.

5 /5 M Patterson: Nice spot along the water. The menu had more routine bar fare as well as sushi options. Courtesy of my kind server, Steve, I gave the Hawaiian roll a try and quite enjoyed it. The cucumber wrap was definitely unique, made for a fun change of pace. The view was stunning particularly as the sunset came in. And while I finished eating quickly my server didnt rush me to pay and leave but allowed me to stay and delight in the evening beauty.

5 /5 Rob Baumhour: Loved the atmosphere here. Super chill, good times, live music, great food. As a Canadian who knows his way around some seafood, this place is amazing. Food was delicious, house made Hawaiian slaw was awesome, house tartar sauce went so well with not even just the fish but the shrimp and scallops too! We will definitely be back again while we are down! Thanks for having us Hula Bay!

1 /5 Christopher Alvarez: Went out on a double date with some friends they had live music which created a pretty nice atmosphere but nothing crazy that didn’t let us connect and chat. We had a table overlooking the sea and loved the show seagulls and fish were putting over anything that would fall down. Lovely! The salmon Burger was surprisingly good and we enjoyed their muscles although 4 of them didn’t open so we didn’t eat them, they should keep an eye on that… They had a beautiful welcoming cat hanging around so gentle and lovely!! My fiancé asked about their passion fruit margaritas and the server said they use natural juice then brought her this pink drink, I asked about the drink (didn’t even tasted right) and the waitress just argued that was natural juice I said it was syrup and he asked the bartender then argued he never mentioned they had natural passion fruit… (it was very frustrating so we just said thank you and left the drink for them to take it away as it wasn’t what we ordered and their still charged me for it. We paid and got out of there. Valet Parking was… weird… I guess the guy had never seen ladies before…. 200 dollar bill and I still regret having tipped the server as he didn’t even bring refills. Only reason I’m not coming back here is because of that server.

4 /5 Don: Took the family here on the boat. Nice spot, could fit about six boats at their dock. Got the volcano chicken sandwich, it is a very big sandwich. The mango cart was perfect. Went here a bunch went I worked at MacDill many years ago.
