BIGUNS PLACE - (Near Starke, FL)

1 /5 k mal: I was excited to try the “new buffet” in town after seeing a few good Facebook reviews. Clearly, those must’ve been written on a very generous day. When I arrived, the buffet was fully stocked… with sides. Just sides. Not a single piece of meat in sight. I figured no problem—I’ll grab a salad and surely they’ll restock while I wait. Nope. Went back again, still no meat. I politely asked if more food was coming out, and when it finally did, they brought out barely anything, like it was a personal favor. Somehow, this place had no issue charging me $12 for a mediocre salad and wasted time. Calling this a buffet is generous at best. I won’t be returning—ever. I’ll happily stick with Keystone Inn, which is a solid 5-star restaurant compared to whatever this was supposed to be.

5 /5 Jerry Blalock: The buffet was very good! I particularly liked the fried chicken... it was excellent! They had fried porkchops and small chunks of pork that was fried. It was ALL very, very good! The decor was family pictures and personal items that belong to Gene and his family. The waitress was attentive and polite... overall it was a great experience and will certainly be back.

5 /5 Tim Lewis: I didnt get to try everything but the food I did try was of good quality and flavored well. Our server was new and acted a little nervous but was very attentive to our needs and made sure our drinks were refilled when needed. The atmosphere was great and as expected at a down home country buffet restaurant.

5 /5 Daniel Johnson: Great little place. Everything was super hot, fresh and homemade. The owner came over and chatted a bit. Very friendly person and Great staff. Very clean. I see big things for this place.
