Luiz Bettega Good place to dock your boat and eat some food when around Lake Ida. Plates are big. I recommend the Philly Cheesesteaks. Kids loved the Mac N Cheese!

Tyler Hall This place was awesome! Food was incredible, one plate of boil was enough for 2 of us. Be prepared, it is cash only. Was fortunate enough to have a few beers and chat with Mr. Skully himself after dinner. He is a very kind and generous man. Definitely check it out if youre staying on or near the cape!

Ron Snavely Tonight we had the absolute pleasure of dining at Pepe and Sal e and I must say it was an experience that was beyond our expectations. This was our third visit and every time our expectations are taken to another level. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted in Italian with warmth and genuine hospitality. The food was phenomenal. My wife had the 8 oz filet which was cooked to perfection. My frutti del mare was to die for, I asked for a little extra spice and heat to be added and this dish which put it above the top. The other couple ordered the delicious salmon and the pistachio pesto which again was absolutely delicious. Beyond the exquisite cuisine, Eric and his staff truly stood out. Extra thank you to Steven and Salvatore (aka Toto). They were not just fast and proficient, but genuinely friendly, Making us feel incredibly welcomed and well cared for throughout our entire meal. Pepe and Sale has truly mastered the art of dining combining incredible food and unparalleled service. If youre looking for memorable and delicious food we highly recommend this restaurant. We are already planning our next night out.

Cassandra B I stopped in for lunch and got the chicken rasta pasta. This was the BEST pasta I have ever had. The chicken was delicious and juicy, the pasta cooked to perfection, the sauce was so delicious with the perfect amount of heat. Excellent quick service and excellent food. I will be back again.

Lewis Hale This burger was great. Cooked medium rare. Tasted great waitress was very attentive. I love salt so did add additional salt to my liking. Very nice atmosphere

C Michael Harrer As a DJ of 34 years, I’ve had the privilege of performing at countless venues — and I’m thrilled to now be hosting Sunday Karaoke at Salty D’s Beachside here in Ormond Beach. After my first night, I can confidently say this place is something special! The setup for entertainment is fantastic, but what really stood out to me was the staff. Ocean, Jay, and Matt were hustling behind the bar serving drinks all night, yet still made time to ensure I had everything I needed for a successful show. That level of teamwork goes a long way. And then there’s Dee — the owner and the heartbeat of the place. Her energy is contagious! She’s fun, positive, and truly hands-on. Even with a full staff, she jumped behind the bar, helped in the kitchen, and supported her team every step of the way. The smiles on everyone’s faces said it all. Important Note: I’m not writing this just because I’m working here. There are hundreds of venues across the Daytona area where DJs can perform, and I rarely post reviews. But Salty D’s and Dee made me feel welcome from the very first moment — it just felt right. If you’re looking for great vibes, great people, and great times… Salty D’s Beachside is a must-visit!
