Vaedra Jones My mom is 82 and weighs 100lbs. She was cold. I was very comfy and appreciative of the breeze coming off of the water. I bought her a hoodie at the gift shop next door. Great option if you have a party member who is always cold. Food was delicious and the waitress and trainee were marvelously kind, beautiful, and smily.

Vicki R. Rarely do I give a 5 star review on my fist visit to a restaurant but this is by far some of the best Cuban food I have ever had. From the moment we walked in, it felt like we were being welcomed into the owner’s home rather than a restaurant. The owner was actually sitting and eating while we were there and took the time to come over, introduce himself, and offer us some complimentary items to try. Every thing we ate was absolutely amazing — rich flavors, perfectly seasoned, and clearly made with love. The restaurant is filled with beautiful Cuban memorabilia, and you can tell they pay incredible attention to detail in the décor. Every corner feels intentional and full of history, which makes the experience feel warm, personal, and authentic. Not only was the owner wonderful, but his entire family was warm, kind, and genuinely happy to have us there. It is truly a family owned and rubbed business. You don’t feel like just another customer — you feel like a guest in their home. As if the amazing food wasn’t enough they also have an outdoor area with live music. We were so impressed we talked about it all the way home. If you want authentic Cuban food with heart, hospitality, and soul, this place is a must. We will absolutely be back. This place is not a restaurant it’s an experience!

George Vogel Different? Yes, for sure. A bit pricey but WELL worth it. Surrounded by a travel trailer park on one side and the Braden River and OLD FLORIDA on the other. Loved it. I mentioned to our server that the gator bites were too small to suit me yet tasty. Loved the frog legs, Catfish too was flavorful. Our first visit, almost locals, we will LINGER here again. Dang thats a big gator mount and many other fun to see displays. Great server too.

Scott Heflin Love a good marina restaurant. Watching the boats come in and out made the stop. The food was pretty good. The service was very slow for the number of people there. First round of drinks came out after the appetizer showed up. Slow to no refills. But we were on vacation. Not like we were in a rush.

Vanessa Joe and Chad were amazing tonight behind the bar! The Cottage was totally slammed but they didn’t miss a beat. We got the cauliflower appetizer which was recommended by other guests. It did not disappoint. Then we got the Billion dollar burger and grouper sandwich. Everything was perfect. Thank you for another lovely evening on the Key!

K Polbos We heard bad things about this place but I went to try for myself and I’m so happy we did. We’re new to the area and this is our new go to Mexican place. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. You get free chips, salsa and refried black beans, I believe. There’s a cute little play area for the kids and a really nice outside seating area. The food was really good and the prices were even better! We will definitely be back! The atmosphere is very appealing to the eye and I love the giant hanging stars!!!!
