Diner on the Square - (Near Ocala, FL)

1 /5 J F: Food was nothing great. I do not believe the home made gravy for the biscuits and gravy are home made. I certainly tasted and had the consistency of store bought from a can. The biscuits were most likely home made. They were astonishingly dry. Took quite a while to get seated although there were seats available. The food took entirely too long to come out. Between ordering and getting the bill, we were there for 1hr 15 minutes. This is a diner. Not at all what was expected. Between the barely edible food, crummy service and annoying grinch that went off every 5 minutes, I felt grinch like myself. I will not return. There simply must be better than this place. I’d rather have a breakfast from a gas station. At least it wouldn’t cost me $12 and take my whole morning away.

3 /5 james marcum: Didnt eat this time but while I was waiting a family of 4 was checking out and it cost them 65 dollars for 2 kids 2 adults. This was breakfast time guys like 9:45 am. I sure hope it was good grub.

5 /5 David Renner: The classic American diner experience. Friendly staff, good coffee, and delicious food at a reasonable price. Just a 4 minute walk from the Hilton hotel and a way better value if you’re staying there.
