Dive Bar Restaurant - (Near Jupiter, FL)

4 /5 happy cat: This was definitely unique. Disclaimer this is definitely white people sushi, or American sushi. I rate the sushi 3.5 stars. I don’t feel as though I would try the sushi again just because I was thrown off by the ingredients. A Mexican roll usually consists of cucumber, avocado, jalapeño and sometimes cream cheese. At this establishment it was tempura shrimp, avocado and lettuce. Shredded lettuce. I would rename it as it is very confusing, different and unexpected. Also some pieces had like no shrimp and it wasn’t the end pieces :,( and also barely any avocado. I will attach pictures. However the red sauce they topped it off with was really good. The JB roll was ok and while I would have liked a bit more cream cheese the amount of fish made up for it. The ginger wasn’t as fresh as I would have liked but was edible ( I ate it all lmao). The soy sauce they have is very good, as well as the wasabi. Spicy mayo also perfect. While I wouldn’t try the sushi again I would try their other dishes as the quality IS there. The fish and shrimp were fresh and the rice was perfect. They are also open late which is a plus. This was a very conflicting meal lol. One thing I am not conflicted on is that lettuce does not belong in sushi.

3 /5 Ell Tomas: While the location atmosphere and overall experience was nice... My guest had the sushimi Bento box which they enjoyed..my hogfish sandwich left much to be desired. A thin fried filet with cheese and coleslaw on what seemed like cheap white bread. Presentation? None. Not a spring of parsley...just a sandwich and pale floppy fries . It had NO flavor. I kept putting salt on it and it still just tasted coleslaw, I didnt eat the bread after a couple bites .. the overly generous portion of fries was not fried long enough, slightly soggy and zero salt and pepper. We shared a dozen Blue Point Oysters .They were very tasty but there were exactly two decent sized ones. The rest were medium to tiny. The waitress Val was amazing, attentive and friendly. We were seated in front of a HUGE industrial size floor fan which had my eyes watering like faucets. I dont mind paying 76.00 plus tip for lunch but I expect amazing taste and an effort at presentation. I wont be back.

5 /5 susan fay: Wow! What a spectacular meal! We moved here from Boston 5 years ago and have been looking for the best seafood in South Florida! Dive Bar in Jupiter is one of the best. We tried 2 fish dishes today and are outside looking at the harbor yachts. The service was fantastic and their new Salmon dish was delicious!! We also loved the Sweet Potato Encrusted Grouper! The chef even came out to our table to see how we liked it. Well worth the hour drive!

5 /5 Alexandra On earth: Great spot for waterfront causal dining. My friend and I went for lunch. it was a bit pricey - $120 for 2 to have a drink and lunch, but well worth it. We split the Tuna Poke app (it was enough to be a meal - ask for extra plantains) then we both got a chowder soup, salad salad and one cocktail. The service was attentive and quick.
