Daninos trattoria - Orlando

Marcia Welleslesley We read the positive reviews and went while we were in Orlando a week ago. It was even better than we expected. Great food and friendly service too. We had a pizza and pasta dish. The desert, Tirsmisu, was off the charts good. Like you would get in Italy. We will definetly go back again when in Orlando for work. Great find and food.

AKI E RESTAURANT BAR - Hollywood

Patrícia Hernandez Walking into Aki E felt less like walking into a restaurant and more like walking into a cousin’s house on a Sunday. The decor with the Dominican colors, drum, and hat lamps instantly made me feel at home, and the staff treated me like family from the moment I sat down – warm, patient, and genuinely friendly, not forced. I ordered a classic Dominican plate: seasoned beef sautéed with peppers and onions, white rice, stewed beans, salad, and a side of tostones with a cold drink. Everything tasted exactly like something my grandmother would serve – well-seasoned, not greasy, and full of real, homemade flavor. The beef was tender and perfectly browned, the peppers and onions still had a little bite, the rice was fluffy, and the beans were that comforting, slow-cooked kind you can tell didn’t come from a can. Even the simple salad was fresh and bright and balanced the plate. Portions were generous, prices were fair, and I never felt rushed. The whole experience – from the food to the music to how the staff checked on me – felt like sitting at the table with family, not just being another customer. If you’re craving real Dominican home cooking and a place where you’re treated like you belong, Akie in Hollywood is it. I’ll definitely be back.

J Elizabeth Jones Excellent spot. Its corporate, but its pleasant. Stopped in for a happy hour round before the airport. Tyler at the bar was so warm & welcoming. He gave us a rundown of the concept since it was our first visit, & he recommended a perfect wine for our pallete. Fantastic happy hour deals with a great selection. Didnt eat, but the people next to us did & it looked great. Perfect little stop.

Devon Inge Came here to eat for the second time in the past week. The first time was great. The second time was even better! The food has been very good. So far, I had the Grilled Gator - [8/10], Sauteed Shrimp - [9/10], Blackened Crab Cakes - [8.5/10], Crab Bisque - [*5/10], Beignets [7.5/10], and Jambalaya [6/10]. The staff was great. Super friendly and helpful. Barbara was the sweetest. She brought out a burger order to show one of us the size of their burgers, (huge btw) which helped decide whether to order it or not. She also remembered us and our orders from the first time we went. Lastly she asked if we wanted dessert and we were all pretty full so we said not but she still got a fresh order of beignets made for us to share, on the house. Extremely thoughtful and appreciated. Atmosphere is cozy and patrons were also very friendly and kind. Someone was having a bday the first time we went and they offered our whole table slices of cake. *Saving grace for the bisque was pouring my plate of sauteed shrimp into the crab bisque, which was my plan from the start. Turned from a 5/10 to a solid [9.5/10]

We did the strawberry which was wonderful although they have several other flavors available. It was a great experience and the staff was down home friendly.
