El Tapatio Mexican Restaurant - (Near Kissimmee, FL)

Weston Hood I really liked everything about this restaurant: food, scenery, vibe. The food was excellent albeit on the pricey side. It’s a little bit inconvenient location to go to IMHO, and there was almost nobody here, definitely the quiet part of town. We were the only people in the restaurant (12pm on Friday) which kind of makes sense cause it’s on the complete opposite side from the busy side of the island. But we had swordfish bites appetizer - They were awesome. They were blackened And extremely tasty. The tartar sauce that they serve with it was like legendary, upscale tartar sauce we actually asked to keep it so we could eat some with our meal. It was so good. And then for entrées, we got the snapper “philly” sandwich and then I got a snapper sandwich which was just happened to be a lunch special of the day. All very excellent food and like I said the tartar sauce that was served on those sandwiches as well as on the side, absolute bomb tartar sauce. Another thing appealing about this place is its location - it’s right on the docks in a marina. So you get to watch fisherman come in and do stuff with their fresh caught fish loading up bins of ice, forklifts running around with big loads of fish. You have people fishing off the dock around the area plus there are massive barracudas and other fish that are swimming below the dock, absolutely enormous fish down there really cool to watch and just sit there right on the Dock to check out the boats and everything else that’s happening in the Marina. If I ever come back to Key West, I would definitely go out of my way to go to this place. It’s nice and quiet and really tasty food. It’s definitely worth the relatively high (typical key west) prices.

Margaret Reed I saw the negative reviews and it really got me thinking, I don’t want to discredit someone’s potentially bad experience because that’s how we learn and grow, but I didn’t want to give up on the idea of trying some Jamaican food today solely because I was intimidated by 3.8 stars. I think our dining experiences are very personal and especially food, Liking or disliking is a subjective experience. Personally, the food is delicious. It might be a little bit spicy for those with a lighter complexion - But don’t let that stop you from at least trying. Ordered the curry chicken and the jerk ribs: The curry chicken is my favorite because the chicken falls right off the bone and it is cooked well. The jerk ribs are really good, but I’ve always been a chicken fan first. The rice and the vegetables are delicious and do a good job of supporting the main act. The lady who served me was very kind and incredibly patient helping me figure out what to order. She even included a free sweet treat. Thank you ❤️ I’ll be eating here regularly (it’s only 6 minutes away from me!)

Ashley Romnosky We went here for our anniversary dinner and were very glad with all of our choices. The Carribean Conch Cakes were excellent and the drizzled sauce is a recipe I wish I could get my hands on. The Sautéed Sea Scallops were perfect; I cant imagine them being better. The corn salsa and rice paired wonderfully and were a refreshing match. As excellent as everything else was, the Snapper Assiago may have been the best thing on the menu with a very creamy and savory mashed potatoes and a light cheese coating for the fresh snapper. This place was the best choice for our anniversary celebration.

Melissa Nowicki Everyone we’ve met here on the island has been super nice, friendly and seems to love their job. We stopped in for an appetizer and a drink. We ordered the nachos which were delicious and a rum beverage, which was delicious. Very nice atmosphere outdoor seating bar seating. They had entertainment, good music

April Montana Took the sundial downtown for a doctors appointment and I had extra time so I wanted to try a local spot for happy hour. I had my daughter with me and the place was welcoming towards us. Our Server was Mya and she was amazing. I started not to feel well while I was eating and I had to leave sooner than expected and she packed my tacos and margarita to go for me. Food came out fast and it was good. I’ll come back for sure. The tacos were delicious!

Net Bridgman We had the store door-dashed. Im thinking it would have been absolutely perfect if wed been in the restaurant itself but very very good. Definitely recommend. I got the regular bubbas bacon cheeseburger and my husband got the bleu cheeseburger. I know thats not the correct names but I cant think of them right now. Very very good. He got a side order of onion rings instead of fries. They looked really good and he said they were.
