Gilbert Nichols I came to the restaurant for the first time to talk to the owners and maybe enjoy a hot coffee. When I saw the menu and the prices I thought I would like to eat something. So many good choices and I settled for the Belgian waffle and sausage links. I already had eaten eggs earlier this morning but when I saw that they had Log Cabin syrup with NO High Fructose Corn Syrup, my mind was made up! The coffee was hot. Hannah, my server, did a great job! My food tasted fresh; and I learned that Mario, the owner, was the chef. The restaurant was going to close shortly after I left but Im glad I bypassed Grumpys with people waiting to get in for overpriced food and enjoy a local diner atmosphere instead. You have to make a date to visit this cafe. The regulars sitting at the bar reminded me of the sitcom, Cheers, where everyone was friendly and helpful. Oh, and they served real butter too. No margarine crap! Way to go, Mario!!
