Christian Morales Bleu Provence is one of those places where the setting, the service, and the food come together to create a truly memorable dining experience. Perfectly located next to the Naples City Dock, the restaurant enjoys a charming, almost cinematic backdrop that adds an extra layer of magic to the evening. Parking in the area can be tricky—no surprise, given how popular the dock and surrounding spots are—but the restaurant’s valet service makes the arrival smooth and stress‑free.
From the moment we sat down, the experience started on a high note. The butter and olive spread served with the bread was a delightful preview of what was to come. For our appetizer, we chose the escargots, and they did not disappoint—rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared.
For the main course, my wife ordered the Duck Leg Confit while I went with the Lamb Parmentier. Both dishes were excellent, full of depth and perfectly seasoned. Mine arrived a bit hotter than ideal, but after a brief moment of cooling, it was absolutely delicious. We paired our meal with a wonderful 2020 French red Bordeaux from the Saint‑Émilion region, which elevated every bite.
Dessert was the perfect finale. We shared the Honey Lavender Crème Brûlée—because how can you skip Crème Brûlée at a French restaurant?—and the Crêpe Suzette. Both were fantastic. My wife isn’t the biggest fan of the bitterness of orange, but I am, so the Crêpe Suzette was the perfect closing note for me.
Overall, Bleu Provence delivered a beautiful night from start to finish. Exceptional food, a magical location, and thoughtful touches throughout make it a must‑visit in Naples.
