Hacienda Mexico - (Near Bartow, FL)

3 /5 Jill Blewett: Overall, this place was fine. It was clean and there was no line when we went to order. The guy who took our order was nice. The queso was good, my kids liked it. The guacamole may have been made fresh that day, but it definitely wasn’t made to order. I prefer more chunks in my guacamole though. The fajitas were okay, the steak was pretty sparse and seemed like edges of steak or just shredded steak perhaps. I forgot to take a picture because I was hungry by the time it came out.

1 /5 Pauline: The atmosphere was very colorful and decorated, the tortilla soup was the worst I’ve ever had, tasted like chicken grease with no seasoning, the waitress did remove it from the bill. Waitress didn’t check on us to see how everything was, my husband shared his meal with me so I could have something to eat the steak bacon wrapped dish It was ok definitely not worth $16 a plate. Our son liked his tamales. The waitress asked us if we needed a refill on our drinks after we we’re done eating, when she gave us our bill. We will definitely not be going back there.

5 /5 Bone Tactical: it’s hard to find good Mexican restaurants here in Florida anymore, but this is one of them! Good chips and salsa used to be easy to find throughout the south, I guess Florida isn’t the south anymore… but this is a good ol southern American authentic Mexican restaurant! Order lots of cheese dip and save me a seat.

1 /5 Lori Walker: Walked in on a Tuesday around 6:15 pm. No one was there to eat. One worker got up from a table and came and handed us menus as we sat down. He then proceeded to say, "figure out what you want and meet me up front". We have been here a few times and its always been table service. You even paid at the table. Not sure what has changed or why, but when you have a party of 2 and no one else in the entire place, Id think that table side service wouldnt be too much to ask. No drink orders, no chips, just menus and meet me up front. We walked out after a few minutes of looking at the menu and him standing at the front staring at us. He said, "have a good day" as we walked out. We ended up going to another mexican food establishment nearby and had excellent food and service. This place has changed, and not for the better.

5 /5 Courtney Mccullough: From the food to the server everything was absolutely fantastic! Ordered a soup to go as well & let me tell you, you will not find better authentic Mexican food! We will definitely be back
