3 /5 Antonio T: We rolled into Hurricane Grill around 9 PM on a Friday night and were pleasantly surprised it wasn’t packed. After a bumpy flight from California, all I wanted was a drink, comfort food, and no wait time.
My buddy recommended this spot, and it hit the mark perfectly. I love sports bars because sometimes you just want to embrace your inner caveman, grab a beer, and watch people clobber each other over 10-yard increments.
Service was sweet, though not exactly encyclopedic. I asked if they had any wheat beer—our server swore they didn’t—then I spotted Allagash White on the chalkboard. Cute, friendly, and honest effort wins over attitude any day.
She recommended the Philly Cheesesteak (she’s originally from Philly), and she was so right. It was exactly what I needed—hearty, flavorful, and comforting.
Prices are fair, portions solid, and the atmosphere delivers that relaxed, buzzy sports-bar energy. After a long travel day, this place was the perfect landing spot. I’ll be back!
