5 /5 Jo Campbell: I’ve been wanting to try this restaurant for a while due to good reviews, and I’m so glad I finally did. The place was clean, and the warm, welcoming vibe immediately stood out.
There were so many dishes I wanted to try, but I ordered the barbecue sticks to go along with kare kare—and both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, comforting, and reminded me of true home-cooked Filipino food.
It was evident that many of the patrons were regulars, which added to the cozy, community feel. For a while, they even played Filipino music, which was such a thoughtful touch and made the experience feel even more authentic.
Although the restaurant is a little out of the way for me, it was definitely worth the trip. Between the amazing food, and the atmosphere that felt like home, I’ll be coming back.
