5 /5 Ray Miller: I went for late dinner and ordered a ribeye steak and shrimp. The steak was topped with a dab of what I take to be a dark roasted tomato paste. I hesitantly tasted the topping alone first and to me, it had a smokey, roasted flavor. I decided to spread it over the entire steak, and it really enhanced the flavor! The meal came with refried beans, a light guacamole salad, red-ish orange colored rice which was delicious (dont know yet how to describe the flavor) and left me wanting more! The quality of the ribeye meat itself was OK, but not the best, with too much gristle. However, it tasted really good, with and without the topping (same for the shrimp). I didnt have to wait very long, even though the restaurant was fairly busy, and the attentive staff kept me supplied with warm tortilla chips and salsa that was prepared with just the right amount of heat for my preference. I definitely plan to return again.
