5 /5 Janice Gibson: I’m assuming chicken fried to order. But, who doesn’t mind waiting 15/20 minutes for some southern comfort food. You can’t go wrong with fried chicken. The coleslaw was yummy. The biscuit was heavier than I’d like, but still tasty. Cookie soft, and yummy. This place didn’t disappoint.
The dining room is spacious, but doesn’t have much seating. You place an order at the counter, and pick it up there.
It’s an older town, so be prepared to overlook a few things. The sign makes the place look closed. The windows are dingy. Want to know the age of the place check out the bathrooms (it added charm, haha).
I recommend stopping in when you drive through, or come to visit. Please when you come in watch the front door- it slams!
