LongHorn Steakhouse - (Near Jacksonville, FL)

1 /5 Donna Hewitt: This was a very disappointing experience! My husband and I took our grandson and his new bride out for dinner. Our server Sean greeted us and took our order. We got the Cheddar Stuffed Mushrooms and they were very salty. I told Sean and he didnt offer to take them back, so we ate them. The Caesar Salads were bland. We ordered a Ribeye, NY Strip, 2 Filets and 1 Lobster tail. He brought our 3 meals and put the Lobster and 9oz Filet in front of me and I told him my husband got the Lobster and he said,"No! This is yours!" Then he said, " Ill bring his dinne!" Then he said, "You can give it to him when I come back with his plate!!" I took one bite of my steak and it was too salty! He brought my husband s steak and he took a bite and his was too salty. We told Sean we couldnt eat them, and suggested the chef taste it and he said that was disgusting! Gordon Ramsey tastes food that comes back. Sean said, "We season our meat!" By this time my husband and I couldnt take it anymore. He said hed take the 2 Filet back! In the meantime I ate my Baked Potato and my husband ate his Lobster. Our guests finished their dinner and we waited patiently. Sean came back with my steak in a to go box with 2 new sides and my husband hurriedly ate his steak! Our guests were patient and grateful but my husband and I were embarrassed for the disappointing meal and lack of customer service!

3 /5 Scott G.: Our server was genuinely kind and doing her best, but she was clearly overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to the rating. I ordered a hamburger that first came out severely undercooked, and when it was sent back, it returned completely overcooked—basically a hockey puck. The restaurant itself also felt neglected. The bathroom was fairly dirty, and the windows on the doors were noticeably grimy, which didn’t help the overall experience. I’m not someone who’s quick to criticize restaurants, and I really wanted to like this visit. While the service effort was appreciated, the food quality alone doesn’t justify a 4.3 rating. Based on my experience, this location is very average at best.

4 /5 Núbia Lagares: Without a doubt, it is one of the best barbecues in the city! Great service, pleasant atmosphere. However, the cleanliness was disappointing — dirty floors, poorly cleaned tables, and worst of all, a filthy restroom with no conditions to properly wash one’s hands. There is an urgent need for a professional cleaning specialist in all the restaurants, as cleanliness is consistently lacking.

5 /5 Pat R: Excellent experience at LongHorn Steakhouse. We started with the shrimp appetizer, perfectly seasoned and delicious. We also had the cheese-stuffed mushrooms, which were a hit. For the main course, we shared the 30oz ribeye, absolutely amazing! It came with mac & cheese, a loaded baked potato, and Caesar salad. Everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor. Our server, Lucas, was outstanding. He was kind, attentive, and very professional. He made us feel welcome and well taken care of. We truly enjoyed everything and would definitely come back. Highly recommended if you’re looking for great food and top-notch service.
