Jennifer Hurst My review: Food was amazing, this is true authentic soul food. Nothing was too salty, everything had seasoning and an amazing taste. We had meatloaf, ribs, fried chicken, collard greens, Mac and cheese, beans, fried okra, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes and gravy, roll and cornbread, peanut butter pie and coconut cream pie. Nothing and I mean nothing was bad, everything was amazing! The customer service, the staff was so sweet and asked us if we’ve ever been, we hadn’t so they showed us how to order properly. You don’t touch anything but grab the tray, they get the plates and serve you. The server was very attentive as well, she was even helping people with their trays to the table. Now I’d like to address other people’s reviews. I’ve seen people talk about the older gentleman that’s “rude” and “yells”. This man is an older African American man, he isn’t rude nor yelling, he’s speaking a bit louder for you to understand him through the glass and he’s trying to be quick so everyone can get through the line. Also anyone saying the food doesn’t taste good, I swear is lying! I have no ties to this restaurant not even this city, came in for a race and this food was absolutely amazing. I can tell by the reviewers that left awful reviews were a certain palm color and it’s apparent they’ve never been around a black family or they wouldn’t speak on the man’s voice being “loud and rude” OR the food being “nasty” if you’ve never had melt in your mouth meats and SEASONED sides, just say that. Every time I pass through Dade City my family and I will be back! Also to add the price for all my food listed was $63.00 without tips, absolutely amazing price for great service and portions.

Dee Elle Really nice spot with fun music, good drinks, & great food. This is a top rated Hatian spot & it truly didn’t disappoint. We loved the way the food is seasoned & spiced, & our drinks were tasty. They have daily specials that are worth trying, so you can taste more. The restaurant lives up to its name.

Judy Dykstra We love stopping at little off the beaten path restaurants and this one did not disappoint! We stopped for breakfast at this gem in LaBelle, FL. We had seen it listed under local eateries and that it was Mexican and there is nothing quite like homemade tortillas…the coffee and food was delicious!

Tracy Crouch First time visitors! Our family dined in and had the salad bar/pizza buffet. Everything was delicious! The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Everyone was kind and seemed to work great as a team behind the counter. We are new to the area and like trying new places, but this is now our go-to pizza stop! Sorry, no pictures this time. Oh, and you cant beat the prices!

Derek Pollard I have eaten two meals at PeruFresh and will definitely come back for a third...and fourth. For lunch I had the pan con chicharrón. The pork was flavorful, and the balance between the savory of the meat and sweet potato with the acidity of the ensalada criolla was perfect. Came back for dinner with a friend. We split a causa de atún and anticuchos de carne (unfortunately they no longer serve heart, as it wasnt a big seller) as appetizers. Causa was second best I have ever had, bested only by my girlfriends. Anticuchos were extremely well-seasoned and tender, and served with papas a la huancaina, which were delicious (excellent sauce.) We ordered the aji de gallina and the tallarín verde. Both were excellent and plated beautifully. We left stuffed and happy, each with leftovers from our entrées. I will keep coming back for the food (kudos to the chef), the front staff (a wonderful woman, but I think she is often solo, which is tough), and the atmosphere (great music selection playing, including Criolla, at the right volume to be enjoyed without having to yell at the person sitting next to you to be heard). I hope you give them a visit to have a delicious and authentic Peruvian culinary experience, but also to support a great small business that is unique part of downtown Sebring and the area as a whole.
