5 /5 Stéphanie C: What a fantastic restaurant and amazing staff! I initially booked for a Friday night but, unfortunately, I was denied entry to my flight as I arrived after the cut-off time. I was kindly rebooked to a later flight, but that meant I would miss my reservation in Florida. Thankfully, the kind lady at Maass, Victoria, graciously moved my reservation to Monday night :thank you, Victoria! When I arrived, I had to wait 10-15 minutes to be seated. I would have appreciated a small acknowledgment or even an offer of a drink during the wait, but once we were seated, the rest of the evening was absolutely incredible. Chef Ryan truly delivered! From the very first dish: oysters with a poached egg to the final dish, his personal favorite, a vanilla ice cream with hazelnuts, a lemon-flavored madeleine, and a delicious homemade jujube, it was an explosion of flavors in every bite. The 11-course meal was a journey, with each plate and drink pairing surpassing the last. My personal favorite dish was the Japanese rice with maitake mushrooms and a white sauce, and my favorite drink was the second pairing: a delightful mix of pineapple, passion fruit, citrus, and a subtle bitter finish. I also want to give a special shoutout to our server, whose name I didn’t catch, but I affectionately called him my “Colombian King.” He was proud of his heritage, full of energy, and incredibly sweet and attentive throughout the evening. I will definitely be back with my future husband and family. Truly an unforgettable dining experience!

5 /5 Lisa Barnes: We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Maass in Fort Lauderdale, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! The food was absolutely top-notch — every dish was unique, creative, and packed with incredible flavor. Honestly, it might be the best food we’ve ever eaten. One of the coolest touches of the night was getting to choose our own special knives, each with beautiful ornate engravings — such a unique and fun detail that added to the experience. The service was just as outstanding. A huge thank you to Diego, who was attentive, warm, and made us feel so special throughout the evening. The entire staff went above and beyond to make it a night to remember. We’ll absolutely be coming back regularly. Maass is a must-visit restaurant in Fort Lauderdale — perfect for a special occasion or just an unforgettable meal.

5 /5 donell knight: Incredible Experience at Maass Maass blew us away. The restaurant itself is beautiful—high-end but still super relaxing. Loved the natural colors and the hip-hop playlist they had going all night. The vibe was on point. We did the Excursion tasting menu at the chef’s counter after our engagement, and they made the evening feel really special. They started us off with a little note and ended the night by giving us a toy car and some extra sweets, which was such a cool touch. The staff was awesome. Super friendly, super interactive… just really good people who made the whole night flow. Now the food… wow. Every single bite had so much flavor. I’ve done a lot of nicer dinners, and usually the “experience” is great but the food doesn’t fully match it. Here, both were on the same level. We kept looking at each other after every course like, “How is this THIS good?” And the whole chef’s counter experience was crazy—seeing the kitchen in action, the small personal touches, picking our own chopstick holders and knives (each one designed by a tattoo artist), and having every dish explained to us. All around, just an amazing night. If you’re in Fort Lauderdale, you have to try this place.

5 /5 Michelle Morgan: We went for an early Christmas Brunch and were not disappointed. David was our server but there were a host of other team members that we interacted with including the manager. It was relatively quiet for a Sunday which was OK with us. The restaurant is light and airy. The kitchen is open and you can see your food being prepared. We had the Foie Gras Nutter Butter and beef Tartare to start and both were excellent. We then had the winter black truffle tagliatelle and it was amazing. My husband had the eggs Benedict and I had the French omelet. For dessert we shared thd Hazelnut Shave ice, the Japanese souffle pancake and the manager sent out The Banana as we had mentioned it looked interesting. We live locally and will definitely be making a return visit

5 /5 Debra Ianniello: What can I say, this restaurant is a must. Spectacular food and service. Our waiter, Nick was amazing. First time here, we had the brioche pull- apart bread( melts in your mouth), shrimp cocktail which are colossal with the just the right amount of sauce… exceptional!! Many entree was the Scallops with stuffed artichokes which I have never had anything so tasty. It was my birthday and we ordered the shaved ice which is sublime, you dig down into this decadent chocolate and hazelnuts. My mouth is still watering thinking of this. Such a unique dessert. In addition, we were comped the pear cheesecake that I must say melts in your mouth. Light and creamy and the sauce is to die for. Also received complementary cookies to take home with a lovely card. We will definitely be back!!
