5 /5 John E. Roberts: Bonus of a trip to Florida is authentic Cuban food. Black beans & yellow rice, Empanadas, and a Cuban sandwich. Ah the things in life we miss. MAGGIES is top notch for sure. I highly recommend if you want Cuban food in Lake City, Florida you give them a try!

5 /5 Diana Bordenave: Stopped on Lake City and decided to have Cuban food for lunch and saw this restaurant. It was so worth the stop. The food is delicious. They give you a good sizable portion. My kids loved the cuban sandwich, rice and beans, and choripan. The lechon was really tender and had great flavor. The picadillo and the palomilla steak with the grilled onions was also delicious. You can take food to go or eat at the tables provided. The service is excellent. Lady was very nice and friendly. Super clean bathroom. Definitely worth it. If in the area, I would definitely come back to try other things on their menu.

The food is out of this world delicious - so flavorful and comforting, staff is friendly and accommodating, and the restaurant itself is quaint and inviting with indoor and outdoor seating. They have a different special every day, but everything on their menu is worth trying at least once. Would highly recommend popping in for a bite to eat any day of the week if you are in the area.
