Mattisons Riverwalk - (Near Bradenton, FL)

5 /5 David Shaffer: This was a 4.5 - 5 Star Experience Decided to give this a try because we love live music. The establishment is entirely open air so keep that in mind. The band was quite good and the volume level was notable because you were able to hear each other while dining. Our party of four had the pork (bride said it was maybe the most tender she ever had), grouper picante and seafood gumbo. All VERY good. Cocktails were reasonably priced and it looks like they have a GREAT happy hour. Perhaps the highlight was our server Rachel who has been there almost 5 years. She has been in the business for 40-some. She was delightful and engaging. Guided us through the menu and then we had great conversation about live music and bands and places from many years past to present day. She gave us some great tips for streaming radio as well as some local favorite bands. Sadly, they had run out of peanut butter/chocolate pie which we wanted to share a piece of but we will save that for our return. Great atmosphere and a great evening !

5 /5 Surina Garcia: Visited Mattison’s on 8/7 it was not at all what we expected during our visit to Bradenton! The food was phenomenal and Sarah our waitress was amazing! We ordered the fish & chips and the Shrimp Rangoon, everything including the coleslaw was amazing! We are looking forward to our next visit because already! Kudo to the chef & Sarah!

4 /5 Kent Nichols: The food was good, but not great. I had the artichoke appetizer and Ahi Tuna tacos. They were decent, but I suspect there are better options on the menu. The Reuben sandwich at the next table looked amazing. Service was friendly and attentive, and prices were reasonable. I’d go back, but based on the glowing reviews, I was expecting a bit more. Again, while the food didn’t blow me away, I’d definitely return to explore more of the menu.

5 /5 Jane Devenish: Had such a great lunch here after a visit to the Manatee Hospital that I came back with my friend for dinner(plus it’s literally between the hotel & hospital). Both meals delish & loved the entertainment. They were especially accommodating by letting me change the fried grouper to grilled grouper tacos, & even let my friend change it from fish to shrimp tacos. Loved the healthy delicious tasting choices!

5 /5 Bill L: Had a fantastic dinner experience at Mattisons Riverwalk. Nice open air space with a lively vibe. The weekend entertainment was awesome but not overbearing, so conversations werent a problem. They are rock stars at handling groups - nice large tables, great efficient service and separate checks with a smile. The menu is large and diverse, and none of the food seems to disappoint. Id highly recommend!
