Di Carlo Ristorante - Kissimmee

R S Im visiting from the Netherlands and went eating with my aunt from Fort Lauderdale. I had the best lasagna in the 32 years of my life. The garlic bread alone had my taste buds excited. The wine was also excellent. If you want to eat authentic Italian food in a place with a nice atmosphere, this is the spot. And this is coming from a highly critical eater. Will definitely visit the next time Im in Florida.

Mashawy - Marianna

Rating: 4.7 /5
Angela N Jared Dunn Were visiting the area and looking for a spot for lunch and decided to stop in at Mashawy and were so glad we did! We shared the Mixed Appetizer for Two and the Mixed Grilled Platter, and everything was excellent. The appetizer had two of each falafel, sambousa, and grape leaves—fresh, crispy, and well-seasoned across the board. The grape leaves were perfectly cooked and so tasty! The mixed grill was the highlight: shish kabob, kafta kabob, chicken kabob, and 2 lamb chops, all perfectly grilled and flavorful. Our favorite was the kafta and the beef. It came with basmati rice, fattoush, and hummus, which were just as good as the mains. Portions were generous and great for sharing. Solid Mediterranean food, cooked well and served fresh. If we were locals, this place would definitely be on our usual rotation. Service was wonderful and got to meet the chef!

Scarlett OHaras - St. Augustine

Rating: 4.2 /5
Examiner 007 While walking around St Augustine to see the Night of Lights, we found this cool bar with amazing atmosphere. The inside is old world wood with beautiful trim and stained glass. We started with drinks and I enjoyed the Old Fashioned and a draft. We followed that with Fish Fingers and a creamy tartar sauce perfectly fried and tender. Also enjoyed the Onion Rings. Again very tasty. I would recommend the full menu even though we left early for dinner down the street. The bartender was a very friendly and nice person. Enjoy.

Nowhere Grille - Perry

Richard Barnum Party of four for Thursday night dinner - The waitress was exceptional in all ways. Very attentive, helpful, and accommodating. The food was delicious and the portions generous. It was obvious that all the entrees were prepared fresh and with attention to detail. The Grilled Grouper was mind-blowing, both in size and taste. The Nowhere Shrimp had just the right amount of spice - not to spicy and not too bland. The Shrimp Platter and Shrimp Tacos were delicious. All enjoyed the onion rings. A terrific night out and well worth the drive from Tallahassee.
