Beautiful energetic atmosphere, all of the staff was kind, helpful, friendly, and timely and our waitress was amazing and patient with us! The whole menu is amazing, the burgers are delicious! The food is hot and fresh, the chicken and waffles are literally out of this world with taste and presentation! Onion rings and fries are amazing, definitely need to go again to try all of the things I want to try! My son’s official place to go out to eat at! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5 /5 Examiner 007: What a great place to enjoy a delicious breakfast! I haven’t been in some time but man I will be back soon. I enjoyed the Avocado Egg and hash browns bowl. The coffee is delicious and plentiful. No wait time and the service is excellent! Thank you Ms Sam. Super lady. The French toast are thick and delicious. Bacon is perfectly cooked. Metro is a fan favorite with lots of regular fans. Enjoy.

5 /5 R L Walters: So this was stop #3 on my get-to-know Gainesville Breakfast spots tour, but its going to be hard to try anywhere else after eating at Metro Diner. As soon as I walked in I was seated at a nice two-top and soon after that was greeted by Sam who was as friendly as she could be and one of the best waitstaff Ive had the pleasure of interacting with. She got my order quickly, I had the Bissell Breakfast, which I highly, highly recommend, and I had coffee before I knew it which never got less than half full before she was topping me off. Breakfast came out within 8 - 10 minutes of ordering, if that, and everything was cooked perfectly. Eggs just like I requested, home fries nice and crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside, sausage perfectly cooked, biscuit that was like Grandma used to make, and two sizable pancakes also perfectly cooked. Coffee just right as well and nice and hot!!! I Ill be back to Metro often, that I can promise, as the service was second-to-none, everyone I interacted with wished me a nice day, and all of the staff really seem to enjoy working there which is a sign, in my opinion, of a well run restaurant. Cant wait to go back!
