Michelle Woodard Delicious food & even better service for our lunch date!! I picked their lunch special to turn one of the fish platters into a sandwich and it was so juicy & tasty!! My husband got their white fish special of the day and also loved it! We also devoured our fried green tomatoes appetizer. Definitely support local and come try them!

Ryan Beverly Been awhile since I had a steak, especially while out. We decided to come here to celebrate a new job. The rolls areas always delicious and the ribeye I got with shrimp and corn was absolutely on point. Didnt need steak sauce for this one. Thats how you know its a good steak. Perfect mid-rare and the Caesar salad was a hit too. Left full and had to take leftovers but Im definitely not complaining. Would come back here for sure.

John Hannan This is a modern style Latin American cuisine restaurant. This place is clean and the staff was friendly and attentive. Theres indoor seating and outdoor patio seating as well. They have a full service bar. Theres bar seating inside and outside on the patio. We ordered the beef empanadas from the tapas menu. They were scrumptious, but fairly small. The two of us both ordered the Ropa Vieja as a main course. It was very tasty and fulfilling. I was pretty full, but I could not resist trying their homemade tres leches cake. It was fresh and yummy. This is a few blocks off the oceanfront strip, within walking distance of our hotel. It had a laid back and relaxed atmosphere. This place is family-friendly. Its also a great place to hang out with friends or have date night. Prices are elevated, but good homestyle food.

Rylee J Grabbed a bite here the other night and lovedddd this place! The food is insane. Birria grilled cheese was incredible. Cuban was “the best he’s ever had in his life” according to my brother who eats a lot of cubans. Hand breaded and battered chicken tenders were 11/10. But my favorite thing was the vibe - this bar made me feel like I was at MacLaren’s from How I Met Your Mother. Niche reference but basically I just mean I would love to live near this bar so I could frequent it with friends and have a booth that we regular. Wait staff was super cool too, one of them recommend a cool music event nearby to us. Try Galley!!

Abbies Deli LLC - LaBelle

Johnathan Williams I cant emphasize enough that if you want a deli-style sandwich in LaBelle, you owe it to yourself to try this establishment. Abbies is a simple establishment in Port LaBelle that offers take out and dine-in service. There is a small bar, an equally small dining room, and what appears to be an attached dining area accessible from outside. The deli counter dominates the interior. Boars Head cheeses and meats, as well as fresh bakery goods like cookies and baklava are clearly displayed there. The ambiance isnt fancy or heavy on theming, but its plain that isnt high on the priority list. The establishment is clean and other than a couple of Middle eastern cityscape photos, the thing that sticks out the most is the array of dollar bills with greetings and well-wishes hanging all over the place. Service was friendly and there was a heavy sort of family feel to the whole experience. While we waited for our order, we chatted with all of the staff and they made the pride they took in their products pretty clear. We were even treated to a freshly baked date cookie (a pastry filled with a date paste) as we hung around. The food was outstanding. As deli experiences go, Publix is generally regarded as king in this area, and Subway is sort of the one you find everywhere that you go to for convenience, because you know no better, or because you have no alternative. Abbies is a genuine "where the locals in the know eat" establishment that offers superior quality and quantity at a superior price point compared to its competition. I had the falafel platter. Its no longer on the menu, but if you can get it, its the best Ive had. The falafel is perfectly prepared and served with loads of fresh veggies, flavorful sauce, and served on a warm gyro. If you order the platter, plenty of fries and a can of soda come along with it. The traditional gyro that my wife ate had lots of meat, cut thicker than average for what weve generally encountered, paired with tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce. My mother-in-law had a foot-long roast beef sandwich that she kept fairly basic. She ate half. It was interesting watching as they seasoned the bread with olive oil and a blend of herbs. If you want a deli sandwich here or are looking for gyro or falafel, then kick the others to the curb and seek this place out. Your tongue, tummy, and pocketbook will likely be pleased with the decision.
