Expandacraft Modular Boats Okay, so im a bit biased because the owners are good friend, but there is a reason the place has such a regular clientele. Im there every Thursday for karaoke and will grab a hamburger or grilled fish. However, their specialty is fried foods, and even though you can get fried food all over this area, theirs gets hight marks from the locals. I However, cant eat fried food anymore after a surgery took that off my menue. The staff are friendly folks who care about the reputation of the place, and it has a family run feel to it. This is not a place to get drunk and show your butt like you were in some cowboy bar, its a family friendly place, and disorderly types will be shown the door. Parking is plenty, the place is nice and clean, but in peak hours, you may wait a while to be served. Most times service is fairly quick. Be sure to check the schedule of live music, lots of bands play the smallish bar area, and it may get a bit laud, but at least its indoors so weather isnt an issue like some places around here.

Mike P Havana Vieja on a Monday at 3 p.m. was quiet in the best way. Paula, our very friendly server, welcomed us and let us choose any table. We ordered ropa vieja tacos, empanadas, a corn tamal, a kiwi mojito, and tres leches. The clear standout was the ropa vieja tacos—packed with flavor and honestly some of the best I’ve ever had. I immediately regretted not ordering the full ropa vieja dish. The empanadas were very good, just overshadowed by the tacos. Tres leches followed as the next favorite. The tamal was good, just not the highlight. The restaurant has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and being in South Beach makes it easy to find. My hotel gave me a 15% discount card, and while there’s a 20% service fee, Paula’s great service made it feel well worth it. On the pricier end for a Cuban restaurant, but I’d definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Dennisse Vazquez Went in for lunch. The parking is out on the Street and there was plenty of space available (keep in mind I went in the afternoon). I went in for a quick Lunch and had my lobster bisque soup with House salad and a mimosa. The waitress and bartender were super nice (sorry I didnt catch their names) but it was only us 3. The place looks very chill and it has a pavilion outside which I might try next time. This place was recommended to me and did not diappoint.

Jose I We always love visiting any cheddars!! 90% of the time all goes smooth. The food is super well priced. Portions healthy and the drinks very good. That painkiller is definitely worth $8 and then some, very good. This time we changed things up a bit and instead of the usual steak tests I got their Cajun pasta which was yummy!! Wife liked her steak tips in sauce. Their seasoning is always on point, hardly ever have to add salt. Impressive for a chain restaurant like this. Cheddar is our go to for delicious food, good service and best prices for quality. Dont forget that honey butter bread also. Yumz

Jessica Palladino Fun Wendsday evenings with classics singer Charlie De! Meals are fantastic and a good price. We got the stuffed chicken special, eggplant parm, and empanadas- all of which were spot on. Will go again / great atmosphere and experience

HAMMOND TRANSPORT LLC This is absolutely one special place! Bradley was our server and just knocked it out of the ball park. It was our first time dining at Taverna and we asked Bradley to set us up with the top recommended dishes for the 5 of us. Everything was just perfect and the Chef is extremely talented! When you let a Chef do his thing by working with his staff and going “off script” to showcase their talents as a team, you end up with a purely curated, customized and personal experience like the one we had. Our table shared every plate family style which allowed all of us to sample more from the menu and by the time we were finished, we all had a full four-course meal! Very highly recommend and let them wow you. We will be back! Cheers y’all
