Playa Beach Bar & Grill - (Near Hollywood, FL)

4 /5 Nicole Kim: Great poolside/ocean view bar that’s part of The Diplomat. Took a quick break from the conference and decided to grab a drink along with a light bite with a coworker. I got the piña colada and he got the frosé. Both drinks were frozen and delicious. We also ordered the salsa and guac that came with tortilla chips. The guac had a slight kick to it and the salsa had a delightful smoky taste. The bar is in between the ocean and the hotel pool and has a great view of the ocean along with tvs at the bar. There is an automatic 20% gratuity, but the bartender was super friendly and attentive, so it was worth it.

The beachfront location offers stunning views, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal. The food was fantastic—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We particularly loved the seafood dishes, which were incredibly fresh and delicious. The cocktails were equally impressive, with a great selection of creative and classic options. The service was impeccable; our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. The live music added to the fun and laid-back ambiance, making our evening even more enjoyable. Whether youre looking for a casual lunch by the beach or a lively dinner with friends, Playa Beach Bar and Grill is the place to be. We cant wait to come back and try more from their menu. 5 /5 Becky Parks: Very delicious fresh Latin food! We Ate the chicken nachos for an appetizer. Awesome and very filling. The chilled lobster salad roll with the fresh fries was phenomenal! I typically dont like chilled lobster salad but this was divine! Also ordered the turkey club sandwich with the fresh fruit and had to try a bite even though we were stuffed and it was delicious. Now I have a midnight snack or lunch for tomorrow!

1 /5 Tory: Horrible place, prices are unreasonably high, my dish had corn in it that shouldnt be there! Rusty chairs, we waited all the way through the meal for dessert for the kids, but we called the waitress at the end, it turned out they didnt have this dessert, and she just forgot to tell us about it. Dont waste your money at this place, plus they include tips in the bill, even if youre not happy with the service, they just dont even ask you.

3 /5 Fields Howard “RJ”: Great location and food, but not too remarkable. As mentioned in other reviews, the service was very slow. If you are looking for a quick bite to eat, I would not recommend going here. The food was good, though a bit expensive. I ate the double cheeseburger which was pretty decent relative to other burgers. Ultimately, the location was nice, the food was good, and restaurant clean. My only concern would be the price and food wait time.
