Post Kitchen and Bar - (Near Bradenton, FL)

4 /5 William Harvey: We stopped in after some shopping. We were warned by the bartender that they were understaffed and apologized from the start. I didnt see any ridiculous delays, she tried very hard. My GF ordered the Spicy Pineapple Margarita...loved it, said it was"spicy, sweet, and tangy all at the same time." We ordered 2 entrees to share; the Steak Frites, and the Fish n Chips, all were very generous portions. The Steak Frites was great in itself, unfortunately the au jus fell a little short, and just didnt add anything to the steak. Unfortunately the side of shoestring potatoes were cold and soggy...that was the most disappointing part of this entree. The fish was fried (as expected) and was crispy on top, but soggy on the bottom, and definitely could have been better. The fish was haddock and was a nice size filet, but the soggyness of the bottom on the batter didnt give the piece any structural integrity and just kind of fell apart when I tried to pick up a piece of it. With the fish was the chips side: The steak fries (I ordered well done) were perfectly crunchy, but flakey inside...definitely great. The coleslaw was mild and refreshing and seasoned with a little vinegar, salt, and pepper...sincerely very good. Overall, I will definitely try this place again because the potential is there. It is a little pricey but the portions made up for the elevated price. Next adventure here soon.

5 /5 Alketa Agaraj: We dined at this restaurant for a special occasion and were deeply impressed. The service was simply extraordinary: the waiters were attentive and incredibly knowledgeable. Each dish was a little journey, combining excellent ingredients and refined technique. You could sense a great passion for detail. Highly recommended.

5 /5 Richard: We have eaten here many times. Consistently very good. Last night we enjoyed another great meal. They have a really good cocktail list and all of the food is excellent. I attached a photo of the halibut special and the filet mignon from the regular menu. Both yummy. Service friendly and attentive. Vibe is really good. Live music last night (Thursday) was a pleasant surprise.

4 /5 Cory: The wine selection was great, my red wine was served chilled which was odd. I went on a Sunday evening at 6:30, and there were only 4 other tables full. The outside patio is huge and would be great when it cools down a bit. The board was amazing and so was the spicy tuna roll! We also ordered a duck ravioli special that we unfortunately had to send back, it missed the mark. They also have brunch with unlimited mimosas and bloodys...will be back to try!

5 /5 Caroline Bartunek: I made a last-minute dinner reservation for 19 people on a Saturday, and the staff was not only incredibly accommodating but also genuinely kind. I was stressed because the restaurant where I had originally planned to celebrate my birthday tried to charge extra for a few additional guests. Post Kitchen came through for us; they not only managed to fit our large group in, but when I had to add two more guests just a few hours before dinner, they handled it without any issue. Our server, Monica, was fantastic. She was calm, friendly, and completely unfazed by the size of our party. I had the filet mignon, which was delicious, and everyone in the group left happy. A big thank you to the entire staff for making the evening so enjoyable!
