Barry Bonzack Had a lovely Saturday morning breakfast. The biscuits and sausage patties were homemade. Egg Benedict and pancakes were eggselent. Our waitress Sheila was wonderful, and the owner John came over to meet us.

Jim Burgraff Great experience at Sauced Hogs. We had a group of nine people going to a concert that was canceled and decided to get some barbecue. None of us had been to Sauced Hogs but the establishment was recommended by some friends. They were right, the experience was very good. It started a bit disheveled as no one greeted us as we walked in and we had no idea if we had to wait to be seated or not. A line quickly formed at the door yet no one came to help. I went to the bar and again had to wait for a bartender who finally said we were to find our own seating. We pushed a few tables together but a waiter came by and said we couldn’t do that near the rear door but didn’t do anything to help (you could tell he was slammed as it was very busy). We split into 2 tables and after quite a wait he came back to get drink orders. The waiter was really good and very helpful, he quickly realized non of us had been there before and gave us recommended choices. He kept our glasses full until the food finally arrived. The order seemed to take forever but the place was packed. The food was worth the wait. The prime rib is smoked so nothing like the prime rib in a steak place. It was one of the best prime rib meals I have ever had. The vegetables were also grilled and had a wonderful smoked flavor too. Most were satisfied with their food choices. I will definitely be back for their prime rib!!!

James Bryant My wife and I enjoyed the lunch specials today. Food was great and large amounts for the lunch prices. Service was excellent and really enjoyed the atmosphere especially the water fountain in the middle of the restaurant. Definitely will stop in again on our next trip through this area.

Nicole Smallwood-Otero We were hungry and on a hunt for good found and somehow stumbled across this place, Eds Restaurant. It was like a hidden gem. The service was amazing and the food was too! It was simple, straightforward and not pretentious, just good American diner style food! The same family has been running it since 1964 and never compromised on the flavor!! My husband had a classic Pub burger with fries and a hot dog. I had a grilled teriyaki chicken sandwich with onion rings, corn nuggets and a handmade hot fudge milkshake. When I tell l you that the food was so shockingly good, it disappeared fast!! If you are ever in this area of Alabama, please give Eds a go, you will never be disappointed!!

mark fay We came down for a short weekend, trip on memorial day weekend 2024 found this place on TikTok and Google. The customer service service is absolutely 10 out of 10. Everyone was so friendly and helpful and the environment and atmosphere was amazing. Everything was super clean. the food is absolutely to die for my wife and I had a absolutely wonderful breakfast Hats off to the owners we wish and prosper business. Thanks for the memories.

Brian Chapman Only two gentlemen working on a Saturday night. We ordered a sackfull if cheese, and it was prepared, quickly, efficiently, and with a very positive attitude. Shame on management for taking advantage of these two employees, but kudos for handling things professionally, quickly and with great attitudes. Will definitely return to patronize in the future j..
