C Michael Harrer As a DJ of 34 years, I’ve had the privilege of performing at countless venues — and I’m thrilled to now be hosting Sunday Karaoke at Salty D’s Beachside here in Ormond Beach. After my first night, I can confidently say this place is something special! The setup for entertainment is fantastic, but what really stood out to me was the staff. Ocean, Jay, and Matt were hustling behind the bar serving drinks all night, yet still made time to ensure I had everything I needed for a successful show. That level of teamwork goes a long way. And then there’s Dee — the owner and the heartbeat of the place. Her energy is contagious! She’s fun, positive, and truly hands-on. Even with a full staff, she jumped behind the bar, helped in the kitchen, and supported her team every step of the way. The smiles on everyone’s faces said it all. Important Note: I’m not writing this just because I’m working here. There are hundreds of venues across the Daytona area where DJs can perform, and I rarely post reviews. But Salty D’s and Dee made me feel welcome from the very first moment — it just felt right. If you’re looking for great vibes, great people, and great times… Salty D’s Beachside is a must-visit!

diana campbell I had such a wonderful time. Food was amazing (the best wedge salad with a spin to it that I’ve ever had and the buffalo shrimp was top notch). I also had the loopers house mojito and the quality was over the top. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely would recommend.

Randy Jones We took our freshly caught mahi mahi to Dantes and they prepared it for us. The fish was perfect as well as the coleslaw and fries. Our waitress was wonderful and did a great job taking care of us. We had such a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend Dantes to everyone.

Robyn Nearing Really good food and atmosphere. We came pretty late at 7pm so missed out on the lovely beach views due to the dark. They had a live band playing, told us itd be about a 20 min wait for a table (3 adults, 2 kids) inside and that was pretty spot on. They had a playground with sand toys for the kiddos. Food came out in about 10 mins. Crab cake order came with grits instead of okra but that was fixed quickly. Nephew devoured his flounder. Crab cakes were awesome. Wouldnt mind returning.

Emily Allard If you’re looking for an authentic (not run of your mill) Italian restaurant with delicious Italian food, a beautiful atmosphere, generous portions and excellent service this is it! Situated in a quaint area of Boynton convenient to shops, beach and more. Expansive bar area. Sirloin steak was perfectly cooked. All dishes were presented beautifully. They offer artisanal style pizzas and takeout service. Cocktails and expansive wine list. Keep in mind that gratuity is added to bill. Open for Holidays and catering.
