2 /5 Yani Martinez: I truly wish I could give this restaurant a higher rating because the food was amazing and our waitress was wonderful. Unfortunately, the situation that occurred completely overshadowed what could have been a great experience.
We were a group of eight adults with a small dog in a stroller. We understand that some establishments do not allow pets indoors, and we respect that. However, there is a respectful way to communicate policies to customers—and what happened was not it.
Another waitress, named Kelly, rushed into our seating area and loudly announced that another customer had complained about the dog. This was confusing, as the dog was not visible to anyone and there were only two other tables occupied besides ours. She then repeatedly shouted, “They have to go! They have to leave! You can’t have dogs here!” This was loud, embarrassing, and incredibly disrespectful.
Regardless of how good the food was, this incident left a very negative impression. We will not be returning unless this issue is addressed. Customer service matters just as much as food, and no one deserves to be treated this way.
